Day 1 : ARRIVAL COLOMBO
Welcome to Srilanka
Upon arrival at the Colombo Bandaranayake International Airport.
Meet & Greet with Guide with traditional Welcome & transfer to Hotel.
Upon arrival check-in at Hotel [Standard Check-in time at 1400 Hrs at Hotel]
Colombo City Tour: Tour will begin from the Fort area of Colombo which has been named fort because of it being a fort during the times of Portuguese and Dutch. Later we will take you to Colombo National Museum to see some of the great specimens of arts crafts and archeology of Colombo.You will drive thru the commercial areas and drive past Pettah, a colorful Oriental bazaar with a mix of people, ancient vehicles, bargains, mosques and temples. You have a chance to see a Hindu Temple, Buddhist Temple and the Jami Ul Alfar Jumma Mosque of Colombo.Continue your tour of Colombo through the Wolfendhal Dutch Church, Hulfts dorp Law Courts as you drive along the residential area of Cinnamon Gardens, and also visit the Independence Square and Bandaranayake Memorial International Conference Hall.

Day 2 : COLOMBO –GALLE - MIRISSA BY DRIVE

Galle (UNESCO World Heritage Site): The Dutch built the fortified town ofGalle in the 16th century.It sits approximately 130 km (81 miles) south of Colombo and is a town worth visiting. Thick stone ramparts, which were built to protect the goods stored there during the times of the Dutch East India Company in the 17th and 18th centuries, surround the historical buildings and churches.The entire fort has been a UNESCOWorld Heritage Site since 1988.

Day 3 : MIRISSA BY DRIVE

Mirissa: Mirissa is a small town on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in the Matara District of the Southern Province. It is approximately150 kilometers south of Colombo and issituated at an elevation of 4 meters above sea level.Mirissa's beach and nightlife make it a popular tourist destination. Fringing two sandy bays separated by a rock island reachable at low tide, Mirissa feels hidden away compared to Sri Lanka’s other busier resort towns.

Day 4 : MIRISSA – YALA BY DRIVE

Yala National Park: Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park. Divided into 5 blocks, the park has a protected area of nearly 130,000 hectares of land consisting of light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks and lagoons. Two blocks are currently opened to the public.Situated in Sri Lanka’s south-east hugging the panoramic Indian Ocean, Yala was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1900 and was designated a national park in 1938. Ironically, the park was initially used as a hunting ground for the elite under British rule.Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 bird species. Among its more famous residents are the world’s biggest concentration of leopards, majestic elephants, sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted dear, peacocks, and crocodiles. The best time to visit Yala is between February and July

Day 5 : YALA – NUWARA ELIYA BY DRIVE

Nuwara Eliya: The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. Samuel Baker, the discoverer of Lake Albert and the explorer of the Nile in 1846, founded the city. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night.Many of the buildings retain features from the colonial period such as the Queen’s Cottage, Grand Hotel, Hill club, Post office etc... Town attractions include the golf course, trout streams, Victoria park, and boating on Lake Gregory.Places to visit: Horton Plains National Park, Ramboda Waterfalls, Hakgala Botanical Garden, Pedro Tea Factory, Moon Plains, Seetha Amman Temple, Pink Post Office, New Zealand Farm – Ambewela.

Day 6 : EXCURSION TO HORTON PLAINS

Horton Plains: 20 miles (32 km) from NuwaraEliya via Ambewela and Pattipola, is located between the peaks of Kirigalpotta 2395 meters and Thotupalakanda 2360 meters, the 2nd and 3rd highest mountains of Sri Lanka respectively. Horton Plains is only 3160 hectares in its extent. Known to Sri Lankans as Mahaeliya, it became Horton Plains after Sir Robert Horton, British Governor from 1831- 1837.Horton Plains became a Nature Reserve in 1969 and upgraded as a National Park in 1988 due to its unique watershed and bio-diversity values of the “Cloud Forest Reserve”.Its flora has high level of endemism. Day 7 : NUWARA ELIYA – KANDY BY DRIVE

After Breakfast drive to Kandy the cultural place of Sri Lanka.
Kandy (UNESCO World Heritage Site): Kandy, a mountain city in Sri Lanka, was home to the Sinhalese kings from 1592 to 1815. It is also the site of Sri Dalada Maligawa, also called the Temple of the Tooth, as a special container holds a tooth of the Buddha.Over the years, the relic came to be very important politically; the belief was that the holder of the sacred tooth was the one who would have power over the Buddhist population.The Sacred City of Kandy was appointed the status of World Heritage Site in 1988, mainly due to the Temple of the Tooth.Overnight Stay at Hotel in Kandy
Day 8 : KANDY – NEGOMBO BY DRIVE

After breakfast, drive to Negombo & upon arrival check-in at Hotel.
