Day 1 : Airport - Kandy
Upon arrival at the Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be received warmly by our representative. You will then be escorted to your vehicle to begin your holiday in Sri Lanka. Lying amidst the hills, Kandy is the last capital of the ancient kings of Sri Lanka. While being the second largest city in Sri Lanka it is also famous for its immense beauty and is named as one of the seven UNESCO declared World Heritage sites in the country. With its luxuriant prairie, picturesque lake, Longest River of the country and misty mountains, Kandy successfully mesmerizes every visitor unsurprisingly. Heavily jeweled with a rich and colorful history is witnessed through the numerous shrines and temples as well as frescoes, ancient paintings and stone carvings. Pinnawala Elephant OrphanageThe Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is situated northwest of the town of Kegalle, halfway between the present capital Colombo and the ancient royal residence Kandy. It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Wildlife Department in a 25 acre coconut property adjoining the Maha Oya River. The orphanage was originally founded in order to afford care and protection to the many orphaned and injured elephants due to the war and found in the jungles of Sri Lanka. Currently there are around 86 elephants. Since the inception of the program over 20 elephants have been breeded here. The guest can enjoy here watching feeding baby elephants with giant milk bottles, walk with the elephants to the river and watch bathing of elephants.
Temple of Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa)The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the great Buddha. The tooth relic is kept in the upper floor in the chamber called Vadahitina Maligawa" The door of this chamber is covered with gold Peradeniya Botanical garden .Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya is situated in the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka and attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is near to Mahaveli river which is the longest river in Sri Lanka. It is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids. It includes more than 4000 species
of plants, including of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Attached to it is the National Herbarium of Sri Lanka. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres, at 460 meters above sea level, and with a 200-day annual rainfall. It is managed by the Division of National Botanic Gardens of the Department of Agriculture.

Day 2 : Kandy - Nuwara
After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya (City of Lights), blessed with salubrious climate, breathtaking views of valleys, meadows, mountains and greenery; Surrounded by hills and tea plantations, the town of Nuwara Eliya enjoys springlike weather throughout the year. It is also known as "'Little England" which was the favorite hill station of the British who tried to create Nuwara Eliya into a typical English Village. The old brick Post office, countryhouse like hill club with its hunting pictures, trophies and strict formal dinner attire; the 18 hole golf course, horse race course, etc., all remind you of 'England".Hakgala Gardens Botanical Garden is situated on the Nuwara Eliya-Badulla main road, 16 km from Nuwara Eliya. The garden has a cool temperate climate because of its altitude of 5,400 feet above the sea level. The Hakgala gardens were established for cultivation of the medicinal crop Cinchona. Afterwards it was used for Tea cultivation. In 1884 it was changed into a garden with many subtropical and tropical plants. The legendary Indian folktale Ramayana states that Sita, the wife of Rama, was abducted and
imprisoned in this area by the Demon King Ravana. The Hakgala Garden was supposed to have been a pleasure garden gifted to Sita by the Demon King in an attempt to lessen her sorrow and at the time it is supposed to have been called Ashok Vatika.Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya
Day 3 : Nuwara Eliya - Bentota
After breakfast proceed to Bentota Bentota is the city of the Golden Beaches. You will be able to relax and feel the spirit of the sea and the warmth of the soft sand. The day is divided in spending Swimming in the water and bathing in the sun. Bentota provides the perfect turf for unfurled vacation at the beach. While enjoying the sun, sea and sandthe beach lovers can enroll themselves in various water sports bringing in the unique pleasure of this locale
Turtle HatcheryKosgoda is famous for its sea turtle conservation project operated by the Wild Life Protection Society of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1988 to protect Sri Lanka's turtles from extinction. Since then it has released about 3.5 million baby turtles into the wild. They normally collect the eggs laid by the turtles overnight, protect the eggs until they hatch and release the baby turtles after 2 or 3 days of caring for them.
Madu Ganga Boat RideThe Madu River is a paradise of nature. This river is found on your way to Galle in the southern province. A beautiful river mixed with sea water. Both banks of the river are covered with mangroves and various species of plants. You can see many beautiful small islands spread out along the course of the river. While doing this safari you can visit some of the island where you can visit a Buddhist temple or see the peeling of cinnamon. The bio-diversity of the Madu River is of monumental signification when considering the wide ranges of aquatic and avian life as well as wetland dwelling
amphibians, reptiles, mammals that inhabit the environs of this natural treasure. A total of 11 species of agnostic mollusks and 14 land dwelling mollusks are found in this system. 70 species of fish, 31 types of reptiles, and 50 kinds of butterflies are just some of colorful array of wildlife that inhabits this abundantly bustling eco-system. Bird watchers will be pleased to know that 111 species of bird have been identified in the mangrove formed environs of the river, and has been known to host severaltypes of migratory birds. Day 4 : Bentota - Colombo
After breakfast proceed to Colombo Colombo is the largest city and commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Located on the west coast, it is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and colonial buildings and ruins. Colombo has wildly varying architecture that span centuries and depict various styles. Many colonial buildings influenced by thePortuguese, Dutch and British exist alongside structures built in Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Indian and Contemporary architectural styles. No other place is this more evident in the heart of the city the Fort area. Colombo also boasts many shopping malls and department stores that offer brand name clothing at highly discounted prices. During the city tour you will see New Parliament, Old Parliament, Galle Face Green, Victoria Park, Town Hall, Fort Area, Dutch Hospital, andTwin Towers, Independent Square,Floating Market and BMICH. Please note that you may only have a short time at each place as the total tour will last only for 4 hours, depending on the time you spend at each site. Please note that entrance fees to site is not included in this tour and tourist will have to buy at the entrance tickets.Overnight stay at Colombo.
Day 5 : Colombo Airport
After breakfast, you can rest at the hotel until it is time to depart to the airport to catch your return flight or until 12 noon.
