Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Srinagar

  Today arrive at Srinagar, and reach your pre booked hotel at your own. Stay in the hotel for 03 nights. (i.e. 30,31 & 1st June)
• Day 2 : Srinagar-Kargil via Sonmarg

  Today after breakfast our vehicle will pick you from hotel & proceed towards Kargil, visiting Sonmarg (Known As Meadow of Gold), Drass Village (2 Coldest Inhabitated place in the World), Enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing), reach Kargil by evening. Dinner & overnight at Kargil.
• Day 3 : Kargil- Leh

  Today after breakfast start your journey towards Leh Ladakh visiting
  Indus Confluence (Nimmu):- Nimmu is a beautiful valley that marks the confluence of the Indus River and Zanskar River. The Indus River drains the dry and deserted terrains of Ladakh's landlocked valley and serves as its lifeline. Zanskar, on the other hand, is a tributary of this river and merges into it from the north-eastern direction.
  MAGNETIC HILL: - Defying the Law of gravity. This place is close to the Gurdwara Shri Patthar Sahib. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up-hill that's the Believe it or not of Ladakh!
  
  GURDWARA SHRI PATTHAR SAHIB: - The Shrine known as Gurdwara Patthar sahib is situated about 25kms. Short of Leh town on the Leh-Srinagar road. Built in the everlasting memory of Shri Guru Nanak Deve Ji the great prophet who sanctified the place by his sacred visit during the year 1517 while on his second missionary tour (2nd Udassi 1515-1518). The Guru reached here via Nepal, Sikkim, Tibet Yarkand and Leh after having spiritual discourses with the sidhas at Mount Sumer (Central Himalayas). On the hill features across the road, there used to live a wicked demon that terrorized the people of the area. Their miseries multiplied day by day. As their miseries became unbearable they prayed for divine help.

• Day 4 : Leh Local Sight Seeing

  Today morning after breakfast start your local sightseeing visiting
  LEH PALACE: The Palace overlooks Leh town and is modeled on the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. The palace was built by King Sengge Namgyal in the 17th century, but was later abandoned when Dogra forces took control of Ladakh in the mid-19th century. The royal family moved to Stok Palace. Leh Palace is nine stories high; the upper floors accommodated the royal family, the stables and store rooms were in the lower floors. The palace, a ruin, is currently being restored by the Archaeological Survey of India. The palace is open to the public and the roof provides panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding areas. The richest collection of jewellery, ornaments, Thangkas, ceremonial dresses, crowns, and centuries-old pieces of jewellery are kept here for public display. There are Chinese Thangka or sooth paintings which are more than 450 years old but still look new.
  
  SHANTI STUPA (Japanese Peace Pagoda): Shanti Stupa/Japanese peace pagoda is build by a Japanese religious organization headed by Head monk Nakamura with the help from the organization and local people. It is situated at a hill top in Cahngspa village providing a bird eye view of the Leh town and the surrounding mountain peaks. Architecturally it has the Japanese touch with small clean rooms on the side for meditators and the main Japanese shrine at the entrance. Dinner & overnight at hotel in Leh.   HALL OF FAME: The Hall of Fame, located near the Leh Airfiled, is a museum constructed as well as maintained by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers who had lost their lives during the Indo-Pak wars. It is also termed as a memorial for the war heros. This building consists of two floors. While on the ground floor, there is information about the brave soldiers as and a souvenir shop but on the first floor, there are artifacts of various wars (mainly Kargil war) such as the weapons used during the war and some important documents, related to the same. There is another section dedicated to the Siachen glacier.

• Day 5 : Leh- Nubra via Khardung La Top

  Today after breakfast drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable road in the world) AT 5,602 M / 18,390 FT, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra check into Camp. In the evening, walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp in Nubra.

• Day 6 : Nubra- Leh via Diskit Excursion

  Today after breakfast drive to Diskit. Diskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley. Later drive back to Leh in the late afternoon via Khardungla Top. On arrival at Leh check in Hotel. In the afternoon you can rest and relax. In the evening you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

• Day 7 : Leh- Pangong Excursion via Shey - Thisky

  Today after breakfast drive to Pangong Lake visiting, Shey Palace complex are structures located on a hillock in Shey, 15 kilometers to the south of Leh in Ladakh. Shey was the summer capital of Ladakh in the past.& Thiksey monastery. Arrive at Pangong  in camp & leisure at Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet, is bisected by the international border between India and China. And night stay at pangong.

• Day 8 : Pangong-Leh via Hemis

  Have your breakfast early in the morning and get ready to head towards Leh via Hemis. This will be the last day at Leh, so explore Leh the whole day. Shop at bazaars and visit the Shanti Stupa which is a Buddhist white-dome huge structure which overlooks Changspa. Enjoy a great view of the Indus Valley and the Zanskar range and go colder to nature.
