Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at – Leh

  From the Delhi airport, board a flight to Leh’s Bakula Airport, at an altitude of 11700 feet. Upon arrival, our tour representative helps you with an assisted transfer to the hotel. After completing the check-in formalities, the day is scheduled for resting for acclimatization to the high altitudes of Ladakh, a necessary thing to do. Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 2 : Arrive at Leh & Local Sight Seeing

  Today morning after breakfast, have sightseeing of Shanti-Stupa(Shanti Stupa is situated at a height of 4267 meters overlooking the Leh city, it gives a panaoromic view of surrounding snow capped mountains ), Leh Palace, Stok Palace & Museum (The Leh Palace has nine stories which are in ruins now. Though it has been maintained now, it is uninhabited. The majestic palace overlooks the Namgyalhill and is nestled amidst breath taking locales of the Himalayas.), Spituk Monastery & Kaali Mata Mandir. Evening visit local market. Some of the best buys include Buddhist masks, prayer wheels, Thangka paintings and woolen items like Pashmina shawls, gloves, sweaters and more.

• Day 3 : Excursion To Thiksey – Shey – Stock Palace

  Tody visit Indus valley monasteries tours to Shey the ancient capital of Ladakh. The monastery here has a huge gold-gilded statue of Buddha Sakyamuni with a large silver lamp burning in front of the statue, built in the memory of King Singee Namgyal by his son lDeldan Namgyal in 1633 A.D. Than visit Thiksey Gompa an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. The monastery has a beautiful 30 m high gold-plated statue of Maitreya Buddha, the Buddha of the future is one of the most beautiful monasteries of Ladakh, while back visit Stock Palace. • Day 4 : Leh- Nubra via Khardung La Top (116kms/ 03 hrsapprox)

  Today after breakfast drive to NubraValley. The road journey from Leh to NubraValleypasses over KhardungLa (The Highest Motorable road in the world) AT 5,602 M / 18,390 FT, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif.  Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra check into Camp.In the evening, walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world.Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp in Nubra.

• Day 5 : Nubra- Leh via Diskit Excursion (116kms/ 03 hrsapprox )

  Today after breakfast drive to Diskit. Diskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley. Later drive back to Leh in the late afternoon via Khardungla Top. On arrival at Leh check in Hotel. In the afternoon you can rest and relax. In the evening you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

• Day 6 : Leh- Alchi- Leh (68 kms/ 02 hrsapprox)

  Today after breakfast drive to west of Leh to visit the magnificent miniature paintings Alchi Monastery dating back to 990 AD. On the way visit Magnetic Hill which defies gravity, Indus & Zanskar River Sangam. On the way back visit Military Hall of Fame. Dinner & overnight at hotel in Leh.
• Day 7 : Leh- Pangong (120 kms/ 03hrsapprox)

  Today after breakfast drive to Pangong Lake visiting, Shey Palace complex are structures located on a hillock in Shey, 15 kilometers to the south of Leh in Ladakh. Shey was the summer capital of Ladakh in the past.& Thiksey monastery. Arrive at Pangong in camp & leisure at Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet, is bisected by the international border between India and China. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp at Pangong.

  Today after breakfast checkout from camp and drive towards Leh.Arrive Karu and Visit Hemis Monestary. Later drive towards Leh. Arrive Leh and check into hotel. Evening at leisure.Overnight stay at the hotel at Leh.
