Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVE SRINAGAR:-

  Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport you will met our representative and transfer to Sonmarg. Rest. Overnight in Sonmarg.

• Day 2 : SONMARG TO KARGIL (VIA ZOJI LA):-

  Post breakfast we drive to Leh via Zoji La. Lowest altitude pass of Leh Srinagar highway. Further we drive to Drass(2nd coldest place of the world)Hear one can visit Kargil war memorial, Tolo Ling and Tiger Hill and the proceed towards Kargil.Upon arrival in Kargil we check in at our Camp for overnight stay.

• Day 3 : KARGIL TO LEH (VIA LAMAYURU):-

  Post breakfast we drive to Leh enroot visiting Lamayuru, Belongs to Drigung Kargyu sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The oldest structure in Lamayuru is the Singey Lhakhang built by the founder of Alchi Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo in 11th century. After visiting Lamayuru we proceed further to Leh enroot visiting Sangam(Confluence of Indus & Zanskar river, Magnetic hill(Defines gravity) Upon arrival in Leh you will met by our representative and check in at our hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 4 : LEH TO (TURTUK) NUBRA VALLEY (126 Km / APRX. 05 Hrs):-

  After an early breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley via Khardongla Pass (the highest motor able road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Diskit is the frist village of Nubra valley we will visit.After spending some time in Diskit we will drive straight to Turtuk. This small village of Nubra Valley which was recently open for tourist visit and got a new name called Hidden Heaven on Earth. Because of its low altitude it has a breath taking green landscape. Turtrk was one of the famous port which lies on the route of Silk trade or Silk route trade. It is believed that the local people of Turtuk are mixed races of Russia & Turkey and the culture practice hear is very different as compare to Ladakhi culture because it is believed that during silk route trade many people from Russia & Turkey settled here. On arrival welcome in Guest House and after lunch explore the beautiful village of Turtuk. Overnight in Turtuk.

• Day 5 : NUBRA VALLEY(TURTUK) TO LEH:-

  After your breakfast we will leave Hunder for the famous camel safari (Optional) later we drive further to Deskit Monastery situated on a hill overlooking the entire Nubra Valley and have see the biggest Maitreya Buddha’s Statue below the Monastery. After the monastery we will drive back to Leh en route Leh palace and Shanti Stupa. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 6 : WHITE RIVER RAFTING:-

  Today after the breakfast our rafting transportation will pick you from hotel and drive towards Chilling through Indus valley crossing Indus River and reach Chilling. Before you start the rafting our expert guide will tell you about rafting techniques. You will be provided will all equipments like Wet Suite, life jacket, hamlets, paddle. Rafting will be of 29 Km which will be covered in 3 hours. It is a level 3+. After the end you will be transferred to our camp where you will be server hot lunch. After that we will drive back to Leh. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 7 : LEH TO PANGONG LAKE:-

  After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. 
  Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. On the way we will visit Shay Palace and Thiksey monastery and then drive straight to Pangong lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Evening at leisure and overnight stay at the camp near lake.

• Day 8 : PANGONG LAKE TO LEH (06 HOURS APPROX.):-

  Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to Leh enroot Hemis monastery and Stok palace. Later we drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight.

• Day 9 : SHAM TREK(YANGTHANG TO HEMIS SHUKPACHEN):-

  Today after the early breakfast we will drive to Yangthang to start our trek. The walk is through a thick grove of poplar, willow, apricot and apple trees along a stream before getting to the popular nunnery of Rizong at a site called Chulichan in about half an hour.  The valley on the right is the way to the monastery, which is known for its strict rules of observing monastic life as per Buddhist tenets. After having lunch, the trek towards Hemis Shukpachan village involves crossing a simple pass behind the monastery. Overnight stay is in local house.

• Day 10 : TREK FROM HEMIS SHUKPACHEN TO TEMISGAM AND DRIVE LEH:-

  After the breakfast we will start our trek. It is a bit longer trek involving crossing of Maptek La (3750 meters), which has great views of surrounding valleys and mountains. Soon after the pass you get the sight of Ang village. From Ang the road leads down to the Temisgam village, which has ruins of historical fort and a small monastery enshrining the highly sacred marble statue of Avalokitesvara.After visiting the monastery we will drive back to Leh for overnight stay.

• Day 11 : EXCURSION TO LADAKH FESTIVAL:-

  Ladakh festival takes places in 3rd week of September and last for one week in Leh and other parts of Ladadkh. The inauguration ceremony takes places in Leh on large scale with the procession of various cultural troupes from different parts of Ladakh. It passes through the Leh market dancing ,singing with traditional music in colorful traditional Ladakhi dresses and finishes at Polo ground after performing their best dances and songs. The festival last for one week with regular programs in different villages of Ladakh. The program include Archery ,Polo ,Mask Dances from the monasteries ,traditional dances by cultural troupes from villages. There are series of musical concert and dance in Leh town.

• Day 12 : LEH TO SARCHU:-

  After an early breakfast we check out from the hotel and drive to Sarchu via through Taglang la pass 17,585 ft (World second highest road).At Pang you can stop for lunch and continues driving to Lachung la pass, which is at the height of 5065 meters. Upon arrival at Sarchu we check in at our camp for overnight. It will also be the coldest night during the whole tour.

• Day 13 : SARCHU TO MANALI:-

  Today we start our journey to Manali via Baralacha Pass (4890m), Keylong (3350 m), & Rohtang Pass (3978 m). Manali, Located in the most charming and beautiful Kullu valley spreads out its charm on either side of river Beas. Kullu was once known as Kulanthpitha, which means the end of the habitable world. Beyond rose the forbidding heights of the Greater Himalayas, and by the banks of the shining river Beas, lay the fabled 'Silver Valley'. The valley runs north to south of Beas River and is 80 kms. Upon arrival we check in at our hotel. Evening at leisure to explore the area on your own and overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 14 : DEPART LEH (DEPART MANALI):-

  Transfer to Chandhigarh. Tour concludes. Infinite Himalaya thank you for your patronage and ensure a punctual transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward journey towards home.
