Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : SRINAGAR ARRIVAL

  Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, you will meet our representative & you would be transferred to hotel in Srinagar. later enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride (Optional) on the lake – Its one of the most soothing & relaxing aspects of a holiday in Kashmir. In evening you can visit important sights of Srinagar City- Shankaracharya Temple & Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh & Shalimar Bagh). Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 2 : SRINAGAR - KARGIL VIA SONAMARG

  Today after breakfast proceed towards Kargil, visiting Sonmarg (Known As Meadow of Gold), Drass Village (2 Coldest Inhabitated place in the World), Enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing), reach Kargil by evening. Upon arrival check into hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Kargil.
• Day 3 : KARGIL - LEH

  Today after breakfast visit the monastery of Mulbekh . En route visit Indus Confluence, Magentic Hill & Gurdwara Patthar Sahib before reaching Leh. After that start your journey towards Leh. On arrival at Leh check into hotel. Rest of the evening is free for the leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh.
• Day 4 : LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

  Today after breakfast, visit Leh Palace, Hemis Monastery and Stok Palace Museum. Stok palace which houses a fine private museum. There is a superb collection of thangkhas, said to be the best in the world. Later, hit the road to Hemis Gompa, which crosses the Indus River at the Karu Village. Built in the 17th century, between 1602 A.D. TO 1642 A.D., Hemis is one of the most famous monasteries in Ladakh. It is also known for the annual festival called Hemis Tsechu. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

• Day 5 : LEH TO NUBRA VIA KHARDUNG LA

  Today after breakfast, we start our drive towards the world’s highest motor-able road- Khardungla Pass. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable road in the world) AT 5,602 M / 18,390 FT, around 39 km from Leh. Upon arrival in Nubra check into Camp. In the evening, walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. Overnight stay in Nubra.

• Day 6 : NUBRA TO LEH VIA DISKIT

  Today after breakfast drive to Diskit. Diskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley. Later drive back to Leh in the late afternoon via Khardungla Top. On arrival at Leh check in Hotel. In the afternoon you can rest and relax. In the evening you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

• Day 7 : LEH TO PANGONG LAKE VIA SHEY THIKSEY

  Today after breakfast drive to Pangong lake (world’s highest salt lake) visiting, Shey Palace complex are structures located on a hillock in Shey, 15 kilometers to the south of Leh in Ladakh. Shey was the summer capital of Ladakh in the past & later visit Thiksey monastery, the twelve storied monastery of Thiksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island Mountain. Arrive at Pangong in camp & leisure at Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 ft, is bisected by the international border between India and China. Overnight stay at camp in Pangong.

• Day 8 : PANGONG TO LEH

  After breakfast we drive back to Leh. This will be the last day at Leh, so explore Leh the whole day. Shop at bazaars and visit the Shanti Stupa which is a Buddhist white-dome huge structure which overlooks Changspa. Enjoy a great view of the Indus Valley and the Zanskar range and go colder to nature. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

• Day 9 : LEH TO KARGIL

  After breakfast we drive back to kargil. Enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing), reach Kargil by evening. Upon arrival check into hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Sonamrg.
• Day 10 : KARGIL - SRINAGAR DEPARTURE

  Early departure for Srinagar driving through Drass (famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world) and crossing the Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) to reach Sonamarg from where it’s a smooth 2-hour drive to Srinagar through the beautiful Kashmir countryside. Arrive hotel in Srinagar for dinner and overnight.
