Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive - Srinagar

  Arrive Srinagar, pride of the beautiful valley of Kashmir, famous for its lakes dotted with Shikaras and the Mughal Gardens. Transfer and check into the houseboat/ hotel. Post lunch half day excursion to the Mughal Gardens, located on the eastern bank of the Dal Lake i.e. Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Chashm-e-Shahi and botanical gardens. In the evening shikara ride to Nehru Park. Dinner & overnight in the houseboat/ hotel.

• Day 2 : Srinagar - Yusmarg - Srinagar

  After breakfast drive to yusmarg (60 km) is situated in the district of budgam, is reputed for some of the highest peaks in pir-panjal range.The word 'Yus' is said to be indicative of 'Yuzu' or Jesus PBUH paased through this valley while travelling into Kashmir with the chosen people of Lord. Intrested Places to visit yusmarg are-# Doodh Ganga : A river at distance of 2 km from main meadow is approachable on foot yet you can prefer horse ride (at your own cost)to the roaring river amidst dense forest. #Nilnag: Ashort trek of 4 km to Nilnag a small lake amidst pine trees, near a hamlet gives an ultimate pleasure to u. #Frozen lake :AFull day trek from Yousmarg to frozen lake is Sang-e-Safed(white stones)valley is quite fascinated one.The lake is usually covered under icrbergs throughout the year. • Day 3 : Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar

  After breakfast drive to Pahalgam, 'Valley of Shepherds' (94 km/ 03 hrs). Enroute you will have an rare opportunity to visit the Saffron fields., Avantipura Ruins, Avantipura cricket bat factory & Anantnag Sulpher Springs. Enjoy the bounty of Nature at Pahalgam, located on the bank of beautiful Lidder River. Day is free to explore Lidder valley at your own Option 1. You can enjoy leisurely walks in pine forest along River Lidder and enjoy picnic on riverside. Option 2. You can enjoy pony ride to Baisaran meadow, surrounded by thickly wooded pine forest and snow-capped mountains. This grassy glen offers a panoramic view of Pahalgam town and Lidder Valley. Return back to Srinagar. Dinner & overnight in the houseboat/ hotel as per your booking.

• Day 4 : Shankaracharya Temple - Kheer Bhawani - Manasbal Lake

  After breakfast depart for Shankar Acharya Temple, 5 km from Nehru park ,the temple stands atop Takht-e-Suleman(1100 ft).The present temple was built during the reignof Jehangir on the original plinth of the temple. The temple of lord shiva has a Shiv lingam which worshiped by the Hindus, leads to the temple area,280 steep stairway to the temple needs alots of effort to reach temple. # Kheer Bhawani Temple(36 km from sxr): Kheer bhawani Temple is situated in the village of 'Tulmul'(meaning –of great value )is the shrine of Kheer bhawani.The sacred spring at the temple symbolizes goddess Ragnya Devi.When Ravana finished his worship goddess accepted his offer of kheer(Rice pudding), since the goddess is known as Kheer Bhawani. # Manasbal Lake(48 km from sxr): Ganderbal - Sonmarg road is the placid Manasbal lake. 4 km longand 1.2 km wide lake is famous for Lotus, water nuts and colorful migratory birds. Believed to be deepest lake as its depth is measured to about 12.8 km at some places. The shikara ride(at your own cost) in the lake offers most fascinating scenes of surrounding nature. In the Evening, Return back to Srinagar. Dinner & overnight in the houseboat/ hotel.

  This morning you will proceed for a full day excursion to Gulmarg, Meadow of Flowers (54 kms /1.5hrs) situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, full day at leisure to take the leisurely walks on the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow capped mountains. Enjoy pony ride or Gondola ride (rope way) to Khillanmarg at your own cost, Return to Srinagar with Overnight in the Hotel.
