On this tour we visit Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most imposing and iconic castles, steeped in history and witness to many a bloody battle during the 13th & 14th century’s war of independence. A visit to the castle and its many magnificent buildings including the Royal Palace and the great hall will surely leave an everlasting impression as you wander round the grounds following in the footsteps of many ancient kings and queens, including king James V and Mary Queen of Scots.

Leaving Stirling, our journey takes us North, along the picturesque back roads to the pretty town of Crieff, where we visit The Famous Grouse Distillery and the opportunity to learn the ancient art of producing one of Scotland’s world-renowned single malt whiskies. Sticking to the scenic back roads we then make our way through the stunning Trossachs national park, to the ” Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond” one of Scotland’s most iconic lochs.
Highlights of your tour will also include;- the imposing National Wallace Monument, completed in 1867 to commemorate Sir William Wallace’s victory at the battle of Stirling Bridge, where the 13th century battle took place. Loch Earn, situated in the beautiful Perthshire highlands. Rob Roy’s grave, burial place of one of Scotland’s most iconic folk heroes. Loch Lubnaig, another perfect location for a photo stop. Highland Cattle, ( Hairy coos!) a chance to meet the locals. The Dukes Pass, beautiful high scenic route originally built by the Duke of Montrose as an access road through the Trossachs mountains.
