Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Dirang (390Km/8hrs) Stay: Dirang

  We will receive you at the Guwahati international airport at the said time and from there we will take you straight to Dirang. Dirang is a beautiful valley located in the foothills of the Himalayan ranges. The prime attractions of Dirang are birding (bird-watching of Himalayan birds), the monasteries, Dirang – Dzong, old Tibetan architectures along the Tibetan villages, and a very old electricity mill. Your stay will be at Dirang for the night.

• Day 2 : Dirang sightseeing, Dirang to Tawang (150Km/8hrs) Stay: Tawang

  Post breakfast; explore Dirang small hill station in west Kameng district. Its spectacular landscape and beauteous nature will surely please your eyes and comfort your body and soul. We will visit Kalachakra Gompa also refered as Dirang Monastery and perceive the serene land. Witness kiwi orchids, then to Dirang Dzong (fort) which is about 150 years old and have an excellent view of the surrounding. Later head towards Tawang, with mountain curve the river Kameng flow along. Witness Sela – Pass, world second highest motor able road, with bright coloured flags fluttering all around at an altitude of 13,700ft. Know about Jaswant Garh memorial-cum-mandir. Enjoy spectacular Nuranang Fall (Bong Bong Fall), 100m height. After this pulsating and soul – stirring journey have a warm and comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.

• Day 3 : Places: Around Tawang (Bum La) Sightseeing (100Km/8hrs)

  After breakfast, start your day with breathtaking view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the valley offer a spectacular view. Next move on to Bum La Pass, about 37km away from Tawang, which is the indo-china border that lies at 15,200 ft above sea level (Please note here that sightseeing at Bum La is optional). On your way back stop by heart lake, PTSO lake, Naghula lake, this will surely make your day. After this return to your hotel for comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.

• Day 4 : Places: Tawang Sightseeing (50Km/7hrs) Stay: Tawang

  After breakfast have a holly visit to Tawang Monastery (Galden Namgyal Lhatse), Asia’s second largest and India’s largest Buddhist Monastery which was build about 350 years ago in 17thCentury. Explore age old artifacts related to Tawang Monastery and Monpa people of Tawang. Get a picturesque view of Tawang township in the heart of sky-piercing mountains. Then we move on to The Tawang War Memorial, a beautiful Stupa build in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in 1962 Sino-Indian war. Take home local carpet woven by local ladies, Monpa traditional mask as a token of memory from Craft Centre Emporium. In the evening enjoy light and sound show. After this return to your hotel for overnight stay in Tawang.

• Day 5 : Places: Tawang to Bomdila (190Km/8hrs) Stay: Bomdila

  After breakfast, we will take you straight to Bomdila. After reaching there, we will take you out for sightseeing of the local places in Bomdila. The Buddhist Monasteries, Craft center Bomdila apple orchard are some places you would like to visit. In the evening you’ll enjoy local market. Afterwards return to your hotel for the overnight stay in Bomdila.

• Day 6 : Bomdila to Guwahati, Airport Drop (350Km/8hrs)

  Early in the morning (around 6:30 – 7:00 am), we will depart for Guwahati. After reaching there, we will drop you by Guwahati Airport/Station in accordance and convenience of your departure time
