Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival At Kathmandu

  Meeting at airport upon arrival by Office Personnel. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. After arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening at 5 Pm, you will be driven to Pashupatinath Temple for the Aarti. The Aarti Ceremony is performed at the banks of Bagmati River. It is fascinating. Music with Mantras, Kirtan, Bells, Insence, light, etc. It is a heart touching experience and offer you life – long gratitude to the Lord Of Living beings.

• Day 2 : Sightseeing Of Kathmandu

  In the morning, you will visit the Gujeshwori Temple. The temple is a Shakti Peetha near to Pashupatinath Temple. It is said that this temple is the Shakti chair of Pashupatinath Temple. It is believed that Sati Devi’s corpse’s parts fell in different region when Shiva took it and roamed around the world in sorrow. Then to Pashupatinath Temple for the darshan of Abhisekh Puja. After this drive to Bhuddhanilkanta Temple. The meaning of Buddhanilkanta is “Old Blue Neck”. The statue is beautifully proportioned with serene and realistic expression of Lord Narayan. Drive to the Kathmandu Durbar Square escorted by an English Speaking guide from here onwards. After completion of the sightseeing, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel.

• Day 3 : Kathmandu - Manakamna Temple - Pokhara

  Manakamana is temple of Durga Bhawani (Hindu Goddess), situated in Gorkha District of Nepal. Manakamana means “wishes”. It is believed that Goddess Manakaman fulfills the wishes of ones who worship her with pure heart. It is very true when someone wish something from the heart - it is fulfilled by the God. Manakamana temple is situated at about 1300 meters - at a hill top surround by a small village community. It is about 9 Km north-east of the town of Mugling and about 100 Km West from
  Kathmandu and East from Pokhara. It takes 3.5 hours approximately from Kathmandu to reach Manakamna. Earlier until the cable car was uninstalled, people used to walk uphill for 4 to 5 hours to reach Manakamna Temple. Now the cable car operates from Kuringtar and it takes 9 minutes approxmately to reach the temple. The cable car generally operates during the day time (9 a.m. to 5 p.m). It stops for a lunch break from 12.00 to 13.30. Manakamana is Hindu Goddess. She is worshiped with offerings of flower, sound, scent, dress, make-ups and colors. There is a tradition of sacrificing animals at the temple. Devotees stand in line for even for 5-10 hours during festivals. The line started from the temple gate reaches longer than kilometer at times. People can be seen standing in line with pooja samagri (worship materials) in hand and. People seem to enjoy standing in the line without food, some even without water. After the Darshan, drive to Pokhara and transfer to Hotel. Evening will be free for relaxation.

• Day 4 : Pokhara To Jomsom

  After Breakfast, early morning fly to Jomsom. Upon arrival at Jomsom, walk over to the hotel which is walking distance ( 5 minutes )from the airport. Please do note that Jomsom is a small village in the Mountains. Only basic accommodation is available here. The clients will have to walk from the airport to the hotel which takes. Porters are sent to the airport by the hotel to carry the luggage. 15 Kg luggage per adult and 7 kg per child is allowed by the airlines on this sector. The aircraft is a Twin Otter or Doniar - average 15 -18 seats. Darshan of Muktinath temple. To visit Muktinath, the clients will have to walk for about 15-20 minutes over the Kali Gandaki River. Here there is no means of transport as on the river there is a narrow bridge - vehicles cannot cross.
  After crossing the bridge take the Jeep on sharing basis for Muktinath. Originally the route from Jomson to Muktinath was a trekkers route only. Recently the route has been widened and 4x4 vehicles can only drive. The path is a Dirt road. The ride is Bumpy all the way. It takes about 1.5 hours one way. Upon arrival at Muktinath it is another 20-30 minutes walk from the base to the Temple. Darshan on your own of Muktinath & following the same route return to Jomsom.

• Day 5 : Jomsom To Pokhara

  Fly back to Pokhara early morning and transfer to hotel. This afternoon you will visit Bindebasini Temple. This is one of the oldest temples in Pokhara was a part of Kaski Kingdom, the main deity of the temple,Goddess Durga, was brought from India. Apart from the peace and tranquility that can be felt in this region, the premises of the temple offers a good view of the Himalaya on a clear day. The temple is in the area of the bazaar, hence,a journey of the old bazaar can be combined with a visit to the temple. Sightseeing to Devi’s fall, also known as Patale Chango is an awesome waterfall lying 2 km southwest of Pokhara. During summer and rainy season, the waterfall takes its real form, with gushing water splashing and making its way through the rocks. Just opposite of Devi’s fall, on the other side of the road, there is Gupteshwor Cave. This cave is popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the cave. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 6 : Pokhara To Kathmandu

  Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. Evening free for relaxation.

• Day 7 : Kathmandu To Airport

  Departure transfer for onward journey.
