Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bangalore - Coorg

  Arrive at Bangalore where you will be welcomed before transferring you to the picturesque hill resort of Coorg (250 km/5.5hrs).
  
  Coorg is on the Western Ghats. Set amidst verdant valleys, imposing mountains and teak wood forests, this is one of the most beautiful hill stations you can visit. It lies on Karnataka's south-western end, covering an area of 4,102 sq km.
  
  Talakaveri, from where the Kaveri River originates, Nisargadhama, a man-made island and a favored holiday resort, Iruppa and Abbey Falls, Nagarhole National Park, Dubare Elephant Camp - each of these can be an adventure destination by themselves. Coorg is also famous for its huge coffee and spice estates. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

• Day 2 : Coorg - Sightseeing Tour

  After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing in Coorg. Sights of interest include Raja seat which is a well maintained garden with a great views of the hills, the beautiful Abby Falls, Omkareshwar, Talcauvery from where the River Cauvery origins and Bhagamandala, the point where Cauvery assumes the shape of a river.
  
  Return to your hotel with your senses overloaded with all the beautiful sceneries. Overnight at Coorg.

• Day 3 : Coorg

  Morning enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Today you have the day at leisure. You can explore the city or relax. Or you can choose to visit Dubare elephant camp. Enjoy 3 hours with Elephants. Delight in the experiences of Elephant Grooming, feeding, Elephant Ride & Coracle Ride.

• Day 4 : Coorg - Vythiri

  After breakfast leave for Vythiri (130 kms/4 hrs). Enroute visit Edakkal Caves. The word means Edakkal "a cave between rocks". These are ancient caves located in Ambukuthimala in Wayanad district. The caves have drawings of historical importance.
  
  Arrive in Vythiri and check into your hotel. Located in the district of Wayanad, in northern Kerala, its cool temperate climate, beautiful landscapes, thick green cover and picturesque tourist spots make the region a hit with tourists. Vythri is also famous for its temples. The Thirunelli Temple situated at the foot of Brahmagiri Hills, is also known as Dakshin Kashi. Green cover and natural bio-diversity are the USP of Vythiri.

• Day 5 : Vythiri - Lakkidi - Pookot Lake - Vythiri

  After breakfast, visit Lakkidi, the gateway of Wayanadu. It is marked by its enchanting zigzag rivers, winding roads etc. You can trek through the ghat road if you wish.
  
  Later move on to Pookot Lake. Pookot Lake is a fresh water lake bounded by mountains on all sides and is marked by a beautiful aquarium and green house. Time at leisure here. You can enjoy a cruise through the lake. Go shopping for some spices, handicrafts etc.
  
  Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight at Vythiri.

• Day 6 : Vythiri - Ooty (140 Kms/4 hrs)

  After breakfast, drive from Vythiri to Ooty, the Queen of the hills stations of the South.
  
  Hailed as one of the most popular tourist resorts in India, Ooty is also a land of picturesque picnic spots. This beautiful, small town is situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level. Lofty mountains, dense forest, scenic grasslands and miles of tea gardens greet the tourists here. Ooty is famous for its Tea Gardens and wonderful climate.
  
  On arrival, check into your hotel. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Ooty.

• Day 7 : Ooty - Sightseeing Tour

  After breakfast depart for a local sightseeing tour of Ooty. Visit The Botanical gardens, the Rose garden, the lake and The Dodabetta peak, the highest peak of South India.
  
  Return to your hotel. Overnight at Ooty.

• Day 8 : Ooty - Munnar (275 Kms/6 hrs)

  After breakfast depart for Munnar. Pass through some amazing landscapes. This drive is rated amongst the best in the country.
  
  Munnar is a place known for its natural beauty. On the way to Munnar, breathe in some of the most beautiful nature views. Explore the spectacle of green dense hills looming over romantic lakes and surrounded by jungles.
  
  Arrive at Munnar and check into your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. You can either settle in or start your exploration of the city on your own. Overnight at Munnar.

• Day 9 : Munnar - Sightseeing Tour

  After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing trip to Munnar. You can start with Eravikulam National park. It is the best place to see Nilgiri tahr, the mountain goat of South India. Later visit Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you may see Neel Thar (mountain goats). Move on to the Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, and Eco-Point. The sprawling Kundala tea plantations and the Kundala Lake are other attractions in the vicinity.
  
  Return to your hotel. Overnight at Munnar.

  After breakfast, drive to Cochin airport to board your home bound flight.
