Swaziland Day Tour

Package Overview

Spend a day visiting the beautiful country of Swaziland gaining a good overview of its culture, landscape and crafts scene all in one day. Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with an experienced All Out Africa guide you will get a good taste of Swazi life, both modern and traditional.

Leaving from Komatipoort you will cross the Mananga Border and travel through the Low Feld through Manzini, its agricultural city, and head to Swazi Candles Craft Centre. Here you will have the opportunity to see local craftsmen at work and see some of the amazing products produced by Swazi artisans. You will then drive through the Malkerns Valley to Ezulwini where you will learn about Swazi culture and get the opportunity to see traditional dances, which are performed at ceremonies throughout the year.

Departs at 7:00 and returns at 18:00

7:00 Pick up from accommodation in Komatipoort / Marloth Park

10:00 Visit Swazi Candles Complex to see Candle Making

11:00 Visit Mantenga Cultural Village

12:45 Malandelas Complex for lunch and to visit House on Fire

13:30 Drive to Ngwenya Glass complex to see glass blowing (not on weekends)

15:00 Visit Ngwenya Mine

15:30 Drive through Malolotja, Maguga Dam and Phophonyane

18:00 Arrive back in Komatipoort (times may vary depending on your interests and the weather)
