The wonder on earth has the name Srinagar because of its elegant beauty and refreshing atmosphere all around the town.The beautiful city lies on the banks of Jhelum River. The Shalimar garden demonstrates the imaginative and flourishing designing of beautiful places, which includes the channeling of a stream in the midst of the Garden. No tourist can miss this garden while visiting Srinagar. Pahalgam located 95km from Srinagar, which is known as a jewel hill-station. Its natural splendor is described by snow clad mountain peaks on all sides, a white water river that traverses the bottoms of the narrow valley, and a weather that makes the summers a charm. Pahalgam is in Anantnag district which is famous for Kashmir handmade "gabbas" and exquisitely designed wooden toys.Any Airfare, Train fare, Overland Journey which is not mentioned in the Itinerary.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at Srinagar

  On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport it is a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jehlum river, snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. We arrive at the hotel / houseboat and check in. Later we will go on a 02 hrs shikara ride in the lake. This boat ride glides you past some wonderful vegetable gardens and aquatic life. Dinner and Overnight in hotel / houseboats.

• Day 2 : Local sightseeing at Srinagar

  Today we will do some half a day of local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Built in between a period of 14 years the two gardens are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughals, whose taste for laying exquisite gardens was fascinating. With a backdrop of the sprawling Zabarwan mountains, the gardens boast of green turfs, blooming flowers and cascading water fountains. We will explore the gardens and later drive back to the hotel / houseboat for a inner and Overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar

  Our trip today will be to a picturesque valley around 97 kiilometers South of Kashmir. Known as Pahalgam (which means The Shepherds Village), the valley is renowned the world over for its exotic forests, pretty water streams and imposing snow peaks. In Pahalgam you can visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows. After sightseeing around the mountain valley for most of the day, we will drive back to Srinagar and transfer to the hotel / houseboat for our overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Departure transfer to Airport

  After a late morning breakfast, we will drive to the airport for your flight home. On your way to the airport you can make a brief stopover for some last minute shopping in the city center. At the airport the driver will assist you with the luggage and will later drop you at the terminal.

Price mentioned is for a person basis. Bookings are applicable on twin-sharing basis. Bookings are subject to availability with the hotel. Cost does not include any other thing apart from the itinerary inclusions. Any other services that is not included in the above quoted section. Only 7 Passengers Are Allowed To Travel On One Vehicle More Then 7 Pax Will Be Charged For The Extra Vehicle. All cancellations & amendments will be done as per hotel policy. For Houseboats and Hotel stay - Due to cold waves in parts of Jammu & Kashmir, the houseboats and Hotels are facing immense hardships in terms of water supply and irregular electricity therefore the water supply in washroom areas might be provided in buckets etc. For Gulmarg - Due to heavy snowfall, there will be a change of the vehicle in Tangmarg which is about 14 kms before Gulmarg. Snowjeeps or chained vehicles will be used from there up to Gulmarg and back so clients have to pay an amount of INR: 1500/- (for 01 vehicle/ 07pax) for a return trip. The guest must carry photo identification like Passport/Driving License/Voter ID Card IN ORIGINAL at the point of check in at the hotel.
