Tadoba National Park is the oldest and largest national park in Maharashtra located in the Chandrapur District of Maharashtra. The name ‘Tadoba’ is the name of the God “Tadoba” or “Taru”, praised by the tribal people who live in the dense forests of the Tadoba and Andhari region, while the Andhari River that meanders through the forest. gives the ‘Andhari’ name. This park has a large biodiversity. The trees commonly found here are Ain, Dhauda, Haldu, Salai, Semal, Tendu, beheda, hirda, karaya gum, mahua. Axlewood Anogeissus latifolia is a fire-resistant species growing here. Palas or Flame of the Forest Butea monosperma adds vibrant colour to the forest. Black plum trees grow in the riparian habitat around the lake. At the waterhole at Panchadhara, huge arjun trees are seen. Aside from around 65 of the keystone species Bengal tiger, Tadoba Tiger Reserve is home to other mammals, including: Indian leopards, sloth bears, gaur, nilgai, dhole, striped hyena, small Indian Civet, jungle cats, sambar, spotted deer, barking deer, chital, chausingha and neelgai

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Mumbai – Nagpur

  All Participants have to report at the Mumbai Railway Station[CSMT] on platform No. 18 at 19.15 pm. Depart from Mumbai to Nagpur by Duronto (Train No 02189) at 20.15 pm. (Bring Tiffin for Dinner OR Take Dinner in Railway at Own Cost)
  Overnight Train Journey (3 AC/SL – Non A/C)

• Day 2 : Nagpur to Tadoba (172 kms, 4 Hours)

  Reach Nagpur by 07.20 am. Refresh in a Train & Take a Breakfast at own cost. Move to Tadoba immediately by A.C. Bus. Reach at Resort around 11.30 pm. After Room Allotment Have a Lunch by 01.30 pm. Evening Jungle Safari by Open Gypsy. Evening at leisure & Have a Dinner around 20.30 pm.

• Day 3 : Morning & Evening Tadoba Jungle Safari.

  Wake up at 5.00 am. We will start our Morning Jungle Safari by 6 am. Packed Breakfast will be given in Jungle rest area. Return to Resort around 10 am. Freshen-up enjoy group games. After Lunch take a Rest. Get Ready for Evening Jungle Safari by 15.00 pm. In evening activities & Dinner by 20.30 pm

  Wake up call 5.00 am. Morning Jungle safari same as Day 3. After lunch Depart for Nagpur Station by 14.00 pm. Board 02190 NGP CSMT Duronto From Nagpur Railway Station by 20.40 pm. Dinner in a Train Provided by HST.

Tips For Jungle Safari

• Dull and camouflaging colours like green, brown etc. must be worn during the Tadoba Jungle safari. Please avoid bright colours.
• Familiarize yourself to new shoes before bringing them to the camp. Shoes must be large enough so that you can wriggle your toes with socks on.
• Please avoid perfumes, Deodorants, scented oils on Tadoba Jungle safari as these disturb the wild animals.
• Carry a dull coloured dupatta /scarf to cover your ears and nose during the travel, Tadoba Jungle safari.
• For winter season be sure to bring along your pullovers, jerkins/ wind cheaters, shawls, monkey caps, gloves etc. Tadoba Jungle safari rides can be very chilled.
• Wildlife sightings are a matter of chance but you can increase the probability of sightings by keeping absolutely quiet.
• Do not make Tiger sighting an obsession. You may miss many wonderful animals and birds in the bargain.
• Keep our wilderness clean. Please carry all non-biodegradable (plastic) waste back with you.
• Do not litter on the trails.

Rules & Regulations : – During Any Type Of Event

• During the Camp all the participants should obey all the Instructions and Decisions taken by the authorised representative of Hill Spring Traveller or Camp Leader.
• During any type of event, in case of any dispute for whatsoever reasons, the decision of the Camp Leader or authorized representative of Hill Spring Traveller shall be final and binding on all the participants. The Participants shall be solely liable for the Risks, Responsibilities and Consequences.
• In case of any medical Ailments, Disorders, etc. which the participants are suffering or have suffered from, it is his / her responsibility to inform the organisers in advance, before commencement of the Camp or Trek.
• If required, the participant(s) will have to take medical treatment from the or Hospital. The expenses for all medical treatment and arrangements for the same will be solely borne by the participant only. The Camp Leader or the authorised representative shall have complete discretion to continue the camp Doctor / attendant available on the campsite or from the nearest available Medical centre without the participant(s) suffering from medical problem.
• Consumption of Liquor, Tobacco products, Cigarette etc. is strictly prohibited during any type of Events. The trek / event will be considered over only when we are back to our decided arrival place.
• Participants should not Deface or Damage any monument by writing or scribbling on them. Any breach of the above two rules will be taken seriously, and will be removed from the Trek or Camp, and No refund is admissible in such cases.
• Half Pants strictly not allowed in Hill Spring Traveller while Trekking. ¾ OR Track pant would be better for Trekking. Avoid Jean Pant for inconvenience in Walking / Climbing. A Shoe having a Good grip will be Preferable.
• In case of any Injury, Sickness, Accident, Death or Any other casualty or Loss or Damage of valuables or luggage or any equipment; Hill Spring Traveller, it’s instructors, organisers, volunteers or any other person involved wholly or partially, either individually or jointly, shall not be responsible in any manner for the same and no claims of the participants, parents, guardians, relatives or friends of participants will be entertained.
• If the participants have enrolled for the activities like wildlife camping or any type of adventure sports activity, then all the Risks and Responsibilities related to and arising from such activities shall be solely upon such participants and Hill Spring Traveller shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever.

Tour Rules & Regulations

• Don’t throw any Plastic waste anywhere. It is Punishable upto Rs. 500/- Per Piece.
• Hill Spring Traveller hereinafter referred to as the company, does Railway / Air ticketing at Extra Cost. In case of fluctuations in bus/ train/ air fares, the same shall be borne by the tour participant as an additional cost.
• In the event of natural calamities or unavoidable circumstances, the Tour Manager has discretionary powers to modify the route or cancel the tour.
• The company reserves the right to alter, amend, postpone or cancel any of the tours advertised in the brochure, without assigning any reason. In that case, money paid by the tour participant will be refunded after deducting the actual costs. but no compensation claim will be entertained.
• If the tour participant is travelling by Air/Rail on tickets/schedule not arranged by the company, it will be sole responsibility of the tour participant to join the group at the right time and place. In any circumstances the company and the Tour Manager shall not be responsible for the tour participant, before joining the group.
• If there are less than 15 participants in a group, the road travel will be done by Sumo / Qualis / Tempo Traveller. In such a case seat numbers may change. Also the Backside Sea of Sumo / Tevera / Qualis is not Driver facing. Any argument related to that case will not be entertained.
• There will be separate rules and regulations for different schemes announced by the company from time to time. These will be supplement to the main terms and conditions and will be informed to passengers at the time of booking under those schemes.
• The company may arrange shooting during tours (stills / video). The tour participants shall have no objection to the shot material being used as publicity material by the company.
• Cheques / Demand drafts should be drawn in favour of “Hill Spring Traveller”, payable at Mumbai.
• I have read the rules and regulations and I understand and accept the same and hence I have signed below today.

Booking Procedure

• Hill Spring Traveller reserve all rights of admission for any type of Trek / Tour / Event announced by Hill Spring Traveller.
• Booking for all events will be done on first come first served basis.
• Bookings for all the events are to be made at the office of Hill Spring Traveller by paying the fees and filling up the Registration form duly signed by the Participant.
• Hill Spring Traveller reserve all rights to change the venue / dates / schedule or cancel the event if any unforeseen problem arises or if the management things so.
• Participants, who have registered online for any type of event, must pay the prescribed booking amount before last date of Registration mentioned in Tour details. If the payment is not made within given period, then the registration shall be deemed to be cancelled.
• Any Incidental / Additional expenses incurred during the any type of event shall be borne by the concerned participants.
