Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi Arrival

  Arrive in Delhi, India. Upon arrival in the capital of India - Delhi, Limra Voyages Tours representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the well-maintained & prestigious hotel, designated for you.
  
  DELHI - The capital city of modern India has behind it centuries of history, which has enriched its culture. Nowhere has tradition blended with modernity on a scale as evident in Delhi - age-old monuments stand check by jowl with ultra modern hi-rise buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for centuries. Today old and new city combine to present a harmonious whole offering the traveller, elegant shops, broad laburnum lined avenues, sun warmed elegant forts and mosques that were once stronghold of Mughal powers and colourful bazaars.Overnight at the hotel.
• Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing

  Morning, full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. OLD DELHI - the 300-year-old walled city built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1648 as his capital and named after him, the Red Fort ( Closed on Mondays) built of red sandstone. Opposite the fort is the black and white onion dome and minarets of the Jama Masjid, the most elegant mosque in India. Then visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.
  
  Afternoon, NEW DELHI - the new capital designed by Sir Edward Lutyens. Drive past the Presidential Palace, the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the secretariat buildings - the centre of all government activity and down the main avenue, the impressive Rajpath to the World War I memorial arch, the India Gate. Visit Humayun's Tomb built in 1565 AD by his grieving widow Haji Begum, the Qutub Minar, 72 metres high and the ruins of Quwat-ul-Eslam (Light of Islam) Mosque. See Delhi's most curious antique, the uncorroded Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD.

• Day 3 : Delhi - Jaipur

  After an early morning breakfast, drive to Jaipur - the fabled pink city of Rajasthan. Check in at the hotel on arrival and relax before going for an half day sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the massive Amber Fort. A visit to the Amber Fort is absolutely essential if you want to see real untouched beauty. After sightseeing and shopping, halt back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Jaipur

  After early morning breakfast, go for a full long day sightseeing tour in and around the city. Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Jal Mahal etc are part of Jaipur Tourism. Evening free for leisure activities or you can also opt for shopping in and around the city. Overnight in Jaipur.

• Day 5 : Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

  On the 5th day of the Taj Mahal Tour, guest will begin the day with a morning meal served in the hotel. Thereafter accompanied by our representative guests will begin a drive to the next destination Agra. En route make a short visit to Fatehpur Sikri. A UNESCO World Heritage Sites, this city was built by Akbar, but later was abandoned after just 14 years due to scarcity of water. Later continue your journey to Agra. On arrival check in and relax before embarking on a city tour. Your Agra tour begins with a visit to the wondrous Taj Mahal. Next visit Agra Fort and Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah before returning back to the hotel for a night stay.

• Day 6 : Agra - Orcha (via Jhansi)

  After breakfast, transfer to the railway station to catch the super fast Shatabdi Express to reach Orcha via Jhansi. On arrival in Jhansi, you will be driven to the historical city of Orcha. On arrival in the city, check in at the hotel. Later proceed for a sightseeing tour of the city by visiting the Jahangiri Mahal and the Raja Mahal. Not to miss the Laxminarayan Temple before moving back to the hotel for a night stay.

• Day 7 : Orcha - Khajuraho

  After breakfast today, drive to Khajuraho and check in at hotel on arrival. Rest of the day you can explore the erotic temple sites. Explore the temples while your guide explains the intricate meaning and legends behind each describable sculpture. Evening enjoy dance performances and a sound and light show within the temple complex itself. Overnight in Khajuraho.

• Day 8 : Khajuraho - Delhi (Flight)

  The day shall advent with a breakfast and shall continue the half day site seeing tour of Khajuraho. Visit the Western and Eastern temples of Khajuraho. Later in the day, transfer to the airport to fly back to Delhi. On arrival in the city, the representative will transfer you to the international airport to connect flight to your onward destination and this bring end to your Taj Mahal with Khajuraho Temple Tour.
