Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi Arrival

  Arrive in Delhi, India. Upon arrival in the capital of India - Delhi, Limra Voyages Tours representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the well-maintained & prestigious hotel, designated for you.
  
  DELHI - The capital city of modern India has behind it centuries of history, which has enriched its culture. Nowhere has tradition blended with modernity on a scale as evident in Delhi - age-old monuments stand check by jowl with ultra modern hi-rise buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for centuries. Today old and new city combine to present a harmonious whole offering the traveller, elegant shops, broad laburnum lined avenues, sun warmed elegant forts and mosques that were once stronghold of Mughal powers and colourful bazaars.Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Delhi

  Breakfast at the hotel.
  
  Morning, full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. OLD DELHI - the 300-year-old walled city built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1648 as his capital and named after him, the Red Fort ( Closed on Mondays) built of red sandstone. Opposite the fort is the black and white onion dome and minarets of the Jama Masjid, the most elegant mosque in India. Then visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.
  
  Afternoon, NEW DELHI - the new capital designed by Sir Edward Lutyens. Drive past the Presidential Palace, the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the secretariat buildings - the centre of all government activity and down the main avenue, the impressive Rajpath to the World War I memorial arch, the India Gate. Visit Humayun's Tomb built in 1565 AD by his grieving widow Haji Begum, the Qutub Minar, 72 metres high and the ruins of Quwat-ul-Eslam (Light of Islam) Mosque. See Delhi's most curious antique, the uncorroded Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD.

• Day 3 : Delhi - Udaipur (700 kms - By Train/ Flight)

  In the morning check out of the hotel too catch an early morning flight to Udaipur-the lovely lakeside capital of Mewar. On arrival in the beautiful city of lake check in at the hotel and freshen up and relax. In evening you can take a walk through the narrow lanes and enjoy shopping at colorful & vibrant Bazaars famous for silver jewelries and tie and dye fabrics. You can also enjoy a Boat cruise at Lake Pichola and experience the breathtaking panoramic views of the sunset also opt for a visit to Jag Mandir Palace. Night stay will be in Udaipur.

• Day 4 : Udaipur

  Today, enjoy a daylong sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Start your journey by visiting the famous Jagdish Temple, the Indo-Aryan temple, built in the year 1651 AD by Maharana Jagat Singh, must see the Pratap Memorial with a bronze statue of the Maharana astride his favorite horse "Chetak Later", see the Sahelion ki Bari built by Maharana Sangram Singh for his beautiful daughter with garden complex with fountains and lakes. Later in the afternoon take a lake cruise on the placid waters of Fatehsagar Lake by sunset. After exploring the major attractions of the city move back to the hotel for a night stay.

• Day 5 : Udaipur - Pushkar (250 kms/ 5 hrs)

  After an early morning breakfast in the hotel drive to Puhkar. Upon arrival in Pushkar - check into the hotel and after brief rest leave for half day tour of Pushkar. In the evening proceed for n half-day sightseeing tour of Pushkar; which is known to be the pilgrimage places according to the Hindus because of Lord Brahma (the Creator of universe) and his wife Saraswati (the goddess of learning) performed a ritual in the lake. Here we will visit the Brahma Temple, only temple in India dedicated to the creator of the universe, Lord Brahma. You can also intermingling with the local lifestyle of the people in the local bazaar. Pushkar is also world known for colorful annual fair also known as Pushkar ka mela (colorful cattle fairs) held each year during kartik poornima (full moon) in the November each year. Later in the evening one can visit the Pushkar Lake and capture incredible views of the sunset. Late relax at your hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Pushkar - Jaipur (130 Kms/ 2.5 Hr)

  After breakfast today, we drive towards Jaipur - the royal capital of Rajasthan, India.. Upon reaching the guest will be taken to the hotel. Evening will be made pleasant by a visit to Chowki Dhani 5 star ethnic village resort where you will feel the magic of village life. Enjoy Rajasthani & Continental cuisine with live music, astrology, games, folk dances and music. Transfer back to the hotel for a night stay in Jaipur.

• Day 7 : Jaipur

  This morning after a sumptuous breakfast leave for a city tour of Jaipur. Visit the impressive Amber Fort, the first of the three forts built by the rulers of Jaipur; although deserted, it offers a magnificent insight into the lifestyle of the royal Mughul families. Enjoy a royal elephant ride up to the hill top. Drive past the Hawa Mahal-a Palace of winds that was specially designed for the royal ladies so that they could watch the royal processions without being seen. Late afternoon you will visit the City Palace museum, walk across the Jantar Mantar an astrological and astronomical observatory. Rest of the evening you are free for individual activities. After exploring the city, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 8 : Jaipur - Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (240 kms/ 5Hr)

  After an early morning breakfast, you will move for Agra. En-route visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri- the grand fort made of red sandstone built by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar. On arrival at the Taj Mahal city check in at the hotel and in evening make a short trip to the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah popularly known as 'jewel box' or the 'Baby Taj' built by Empress Noor Jahan in the loving memory of her father. After admiring this jewel head back to the hotel and enjoy the royal Mughali dinner at the hotel.

• Day 9 : Agra - Delhi Departure via Sikandra

  Early morning after breakfast, visit the world renowned the Taj Mahal. Capture the picture perfect view of the Taj as the early morning rays falls on the white dome. From Taj Mahal we would go to visit Agra Fort, another excellent example of Mughal architecture. Before driving back to Delhi from where your tour ends make a possible stop over at Sikandra. On arrival at Delhi our G.H.I.J. assistance will transfer you to International Airport to board your onward flight.
