Day 1 : Ngorongoro Crater
Met at Kilimanjaro International Airport off flight by our representative, briefed and depart with picnic lunch boxes and drive for 03 hours to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend down the steep walls of the caldera for a half-day of game viewing in the Ngorongoro National Park. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 2 : Ngorongoro Crater
Breakfast and then descend down the steep walls of the caldera for another half-day of game viewing in the Ngorongoro National Park. The Park is a paradise of woodlands and lakes that provide for abundant wildlife. These include the gazelle, buffalo, elephants, wildebeest as well as big cats, particularly the black manned lion, leopards and hyenas. A multitude of birds including flamingos are sighted regularly. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro crater has been called a Garden of Eden. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 3 : Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for the Serengeti National Park, arriving in at the Serengeti Wildlife Lodge in the mid; afternoon hours. Optional game drive within Serengeti at 1600 hrs. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 4 : Serengeti National Park
Full day in Serengeti with game drives at 0630 hrs and 1600 hrs to give you an opportunity to explore this world famous park. The great plains of Serengeti are where endless streams of wildebeest and zebra pour south towards Ngorongoro or north towards the Masai Mara. Our game drives will cover the varied habitats and eco-systems of Serengeti. All meals and overnight at Serengeti Wildlife Lodge.
Day 5 : Lake Manyara National Park
Depart Serengeti after breakfast with picnic lunch boxes and drive to Lake Manyara via Ol Duvai Gorge, the site of the remains of prehistoric man for a visit to the museum and a short lecture. Proceed southwards via Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge in the mid afternoon. At 1600 hrs, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. The park is situated spectacularly between the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and Lake Manyara. The most famous spectacle is the tree-climbing lions, which are occasionally seen along branches of Acacia trees. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6 : Departure
Depart Lake Manyara after breakfast and drive back to Arusha. Early lunch at the Impala Hotel followed by transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for flight KQ6727 departing to Nairobi at 1540 hrs, which will connect onto KQ310 back home.
