  Visit the grand Tawang monastery built by Merak Lama in 1680. This magnanimous monastery is the second largest in the world, housing over 500 monks. The monastery also has a museum with many Buddhist artefacts and manuscripts , making it well worth seeing. Interact with the friendly monks to learn about Buddhism and their simple way of life.

Start Early for Your Excursion to P.t Tso Lake and Sangetsar Lake, Admiring Many other Smaller Bejewelled Lakes On the Way. Those Who Wish to Go to Bumla Can Visit the High Pass On the Indo – China Border, Provided They have Got the Necessary Permits One Day Prior. O/n At a Hotel in Tawang
