Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : YOGYAKARTA

Transfer from the airport to your hotel.
Day 2 : YOGYAKARTA

This morning explore the city sights. This afternoon visit a batik factory, a silversmith workshop and a master baker.
Day 3 : BOROBUDUR

Depart this morning for the drive to one of the highlights of your trip, Borobudur. Explore this massive Buddhist temple - the largest in the world - and discover the incredible history behind its construction. Comprised of thousands of volcanic and river stone blocks, the temple was assembled entirely by human labour and took more than 75 years to complete. These days, the UNESCO World Heritage Site is still visible in its full glory- with magnificent carvings and an unusual, yet surprisingly beautiful bulk structure.
Day 4 : YOGYAKARTA - SOLO

Travel to Kaliurang village. After lunch proceed to the huge Prambanan temple complex and then on to Solo. This evening enjoy a masked dance performance.
Day 5 : SOLO

Take a full day city tour of Solo. Visit Keraton Mangkunegaran - a classical repository of classical Javanese art. End your morning with a visit to a well known batik museum where you will learn about this famous Javanese art developed through the ages.
Early this afternoon depart for a half day excursion to Sukuh and Cetho, two of the latest Hindu temples built in Java before the island's courts were converted to Islam in the 16th century. Return to your Hotel in Solo late in the afternoon.
Day 6 : SOLO - MOUNT BROMO

Travel by rail to Jombang and then proceed by road to Trowulan's archaeological museum and the temples of Candi Bajang Ratu and Candi Tikus. Continue on to Mount Bromo.
Day 7 : MOUNT BROMO - SURABAYA

Awake early and travel by jeep for sunrise over Mount Bromo. Continue down to the volcano caldera. The last leg is on horseback where a set of stairs lead to the rim of the still active crater. Return to the hotel for breakfast, and then proceed to Surabay where your trip ends.
