Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : BANGKOK – AYUTTHAYA – LOPBURI – PHITSANULOKE

  Arrival transfer from Airport to Hotel.
  Later, we will drive from Hotel & arrival at the extraordinary archaeological park of Ayutthaya, where we will surely not get tired of contemplating its wonderful and exuberant temples. Ayutthaya was the capital of the kingdom of the same name from approximately 1371 to 1700, later becoming the Kingdom of Siam and thus encompassing much of present-day Thailand and neighboring Cambodia. We visit the most representative temples: Wat Chaiwathanaram and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, impressive places to discover. This afternoon we leave for Lopburi, one of the oldest cities in Thailand, to reach the spectacular and fun Monkey Temple (Prang Sam Yod - The Sacred Pagoda), which is of Khmer origin and dates back to the 15th century. XIII. The peculiarity, as its name indicates, is the multitude of monkeys that have taken possession of the place. Then we continue to Phitsanuloke, the provincial capital and an ideal destination for lovers of natural beauty. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 2 : PHITSANULOKE – SUKHOTHAI – CHAIANG RAI

  Breakfast at the hotel.
  Departure to the most sacred temple of Phitsanuloke. Time today to visit the ruins of
  Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha That, a Royal temple from the 15th century. XIV. Known to locals as "Wat Yai" it was founded by King Lithai of Sukhothai, and contains a famous gold Buddha image. After this good start, we continue the visit to the Sukhotai Historical Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and considered to be the first Thai kingdom (13th century), before Ayutthaya. We will take a relaxed bike ride through the flat Sukhothai Gardens, among ruins and lakes, and we will contemplate one of the most important icons of the area, the great White Buddha of Wat Sri Chum (Temple of the Sacred Tree), the hand of which, covered in gold leaf and resting on her knee, she is venerated with great fervor by the locals.In the afternoon, we go to Chiang Rai, with a mandatory stop at the Phayao Lake, in the valley of the Ing River. • Day 3 : CHAIANG RAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE – CHAIANG MAI

  Breakfast at hotel.
  After breakfast, visit Wat Rong Khun also known as the "White Temple", the work of local artist and designer Chalermchai Kositpipat, who started the project in 1997. We will also visit Wat Rong Suean Ten, known as the " Blue Temple” or “Temple of the Dancing Tiger”: this new Buddhist sanctuary has as its characteristic element the play of colors between blue and yellow, which decorates the entire building and the white color that decorates the main figures of Buddha found in its inside. At mid-morning we will visit the famous golden triangle, a meeting point for the countries of Laos, Burma and Thailand, but the local people know this place as “Sop Ruak”. From the top of a hill you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Mekong River and the Ruak River, its tributary, which geometrically divides the border between the three countries, the famous triangular shape. Then visit to the House of Opium.
  Drive from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai & visit the best-known temple in the city, Wat Doi Suthep, located on top of a small hill 15 km to the northwest. In this temple, the most sacred in the north, in the afternoon you can listen to the chants of the monks.Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 4 : CHAIANG MAI – ELEPHANT CENTUARY - CHAIANG MAI

  Breakfast at the hotel.
  The unjust exploitation of elephants has contributed for years to animal abuse; For this reason, "elephant sanctuaries" have been created, where they enjoy an excellent quality of life and the necessary care. Havens of peace that, in turn, perpetuate the species.We leave early, by road and through a scenic landscape, towards an eco-sustainable conservation project for these animals. We will learn about their particular stories and we will have the opportunity to feed them, under the supervision of the staff.
  We complete the visit in an orchid plantation, a crop very introduced in Thai culture, whose interior contains a butterfly garden with unusual species. We go to the handicraft production centers of Sankampaeng and Borsang, to enjoy wood art, handmade umbrellas, woven silks, silversmiths and jewelers, ceramics, lacquerware and endless handicrafts. Let's not forget that quality craftsmanship requires time, talent and creativity.
  Typical Kantoke dinner at a local restaurant and accommodation at the hotel

  Free time to enjoy this beautiful town, until the time of transfer to Chiang Mai airport and departure flight to Delhi.
