Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : BANGKOK – MAHA SAWAT – BANG PA IN – AYUTTHAYA

  Meeting & assistance upon arrival at Bangkok Airport.
  Later transfer from Airport to Hotel & later drive to the province of Nakhon Pathom.
  Once there, we headed to the Wat Suwannaram pier and boarded a speedboat, called the Long Tail. We sail along the Mahasawat channel, delighting ourselves with a spectacular rural landscape that enjoys, until now, the privilege of being outside the main tourist routes. On the way we visit a lotus plantation, one of the largest in the area, where we can admire the great variety of this flower, ready to be sent to the famous flower market in Bangkok. The visit is complemented by fruit orchards. We continue our journey to the ancient capital Ayutthaya.
  To continue with the surprises, we go to the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, which was, first of all, the summer retreat of the Royal Court during the 17th century. It should be noted that most of the existing buildings today belong to the period of the reign of King Rama V, and in its structures we see represented a great variety of architectural styles that will engross anyone who observes them.

• Day 2 : AYUTTHAYA – LOPBURI – PHITSANULOKE

  Today's visit begins with departure from the hotel and arrival at the extraordinary archaeological park of Ayutthaya, where we will surely not get tired of contemplating its wonderful and exuberant temples. Ayutthaya was the capital of the kingdom of the same name from approximately 1371 to 1700, later becoming the Kingdom of Siam and thus encompassing much of present-day Thailand and neighboring Cambodia. We visit the most representative temples: Wat Chaiwathanaram and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, impressive places to discover.
  This afternoon we leave for Lopburi, one of the oldest cities in Thailand, to reach the spectacular and fun Monkey Temple (Prang Sam Yod - The Sacred Pagoda), which is of Khmer origin and dates back to the 15th century. XIII. The particularity, as its name indicates, is the multitude of monkeys that have taken possession of the place. Then we continue to Phitsanuloke, the provincial capital and an ideal destination for lovers of natural beauty.Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 3 : PHITSANULOKE – SUKHO THAI – CHIANG RAI

  Departure to the most sacred temple of Phitsanuloke.
  Visit the ruins of Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha That, a Royal temple from the 15th century. XIV.
  Known to locals as "Wat Yai" it was founded by King Lithai of Sukhothai, and contains a famous gold Buddha image. After this good start, we continue the visit to the Sukhotai Historical Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and considered to be the first Thai kingdom (13th century), before Ayutthaya. We will take a relaxed bike ride through the flat Sukhothai Gardens, among ruins and lakes, and we will contemplate one of the most important icons of the area, the great White Buddha of Wat Sri Chum (Temple of the Sacred Tree), the hand of which, covered in gold leaf and resting on her knee, she is venerated with great fervor by the locals. Visit the picturesque Phayao Lake.

• Day 4 : CHIANG RAI – GOLDEN TRINGLE –CHIANG MAI

  Visit Wat Rong Khun also known as the "White Temple", the work of local artist and designer Chalermchai Kositpipat, who started the project in 1997. We will also visit Wat Rong Suean Ten, known as the " Blue Temple” or “Temple of the Dancing Tiger”: this new Buddhist sanctuary has as its characteristic element the play of colors between blue and yellow, which decorates the entire building and the white color that decorates the main figures of Buddha found in its inside.
  At mid-morning we will visit the famous golden triangle, a meeting point for the countries of Laos, Burma and Thailand, but the local people know this place as “Sop Ruak”. From the top of a hill you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Mekong River and the Ruak River, its tributary, which geometrically divides the border between the three countries, the famous triangular shape.
  Then visit to the House of Opium.Departure from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai by road (3 hours) and in the afternoon, visit the best-known temple in the city, Wat Doi Suthep, located on top of a small hill 15 km to the northwest. In this temple, the most sacred in the north, in the afternoon you can listen to the chants of the monks. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 5 : CHIANG MAI – ELEPHANT CENTUARY - CHANGMAI

  Breakfast at hotel.
  The exploitation of elephants has contributed for years to animal abuse; For this reason, "elephant sanctuaries" have been created, where they enjoy an excellent quality of life and the necessary care. Havens of peace that, in turn, perpetuate the species.We leave early, by road and through a scenic landscape, towards an eco-sustainable conservation project for these animals.
  We will learn about their particular stories and we will have the opportunity to feed them, under the supervision of the staff. We complete the visit in an orchid plantation, a crop very introduced in Thai culture, whose interior contains a butterfly garden with unusual species. We go to the craft production centers of Sankampaeng and Borsang, to enjoy the art in wood, hand, woven silks, silversmiths and jewelers, ceramics, lacquerware and endless handicrafts. Let's not forget that quality craftsmanship requires time, talent and creativity. Return to the hotel and then go out again and enjoy a typical Kantoke dinner, enlivened with ancient dances from northern Thailand.
