11 Nights / 12 Days
Pick up: We will pick you up at the world’s second highest Airport (if by air) or the Taxi Stand (if by road). Since Leh is at a very high altitude, you won’t be able to explore much, because if you do, your other 5 days might get wasted. But do not worry, we will not let the day get wasted.
Breakfast: We will provide you with a great breakfast.
Leh Market: You will then be visiting Leh Market. It is the ancient market of Leh, which has been evolving into a modern market, but it is pollution-less and vehicle less. The Leh market is interesting because it is an amalgamation of the traditional Ladakhi market and modern markets.
Leh Palace: We will then take you to Leh Palace. The Leh Palace is said to have a very unique architectural style that has very less similarity to other ancient and medieval structures of India. Leh Palace in itself is a very beautiful building, which has a great history behind it. By evening, you will have a great view of the sunset from the Palace. Also, from the top of the Palace, you will have a great view of Leh town extending till Stok. A perfect start for your trip.
Shanti Stupa: We will take you Shanti Stupa. This amazing Stupa is said to have been built by Japanese people. This beautiful architectural piece has more than 500 steps if you are a fitness freak and love to climb. But do not worry, you can also go around by a car to the top. Shanti Stupa also has a great view of the whole town of Leh.
Magnetic Hill: After a good night’s sleep and a tasty breakfast, we will take you to this place where laws of physics do not seem to hold true. A phenomena of nature which goes against the Newtonian principles of gravity. This place is not haunted, but can pull your car to the opposing force of the slope. This place has gained a great deal of attention from people all over the world. The academic world is startled by this hill.
Pather Sahib Gurudwara: We will then take you to this very important Gurudwara. Legend says that during Guru Nanak’s visit to Leh to fight a demon, the demon rolled down a boulder to the place where Guru Nanak was meditating. Soon as the boulder, or pather in Hindi, touched the Guru’s body, it melted like a wax. Hence, this place is called Pather Sahib Gurudwara.
Sangam: This is a beauty you would hate to miss. It is the confluence of the beautiful Zanskar river and the mighty Indus river. Uploading one photo of Sangam to Instagram will bring you tons of followers.
Alchi and Likir Monasteries: After the beautiful view of Pather Sahib, we will take you to the famous Alchi and Likir Monasteries. These are the monasteries that every traveler yearns for. These monasteries are near the Indus River, so the views are unmatched. They are located on hills, which will give you a thrill. It is pure happiness that you will get after visiting here and interacting with the monks. Imagine it all you can, it will exceed all your imaginations.
Khardungla Pass: Ever wondered how the highest motorable place on the face of earth looks like? Well, this is the day we are going to explore it. Standing at an altitude of more than 20,000 ft., this place is for sure worth visiting. It is on the way to our trip to Nubra Valley.
Hunder: Hunder is a village in Nubra. This place is so picturesque that movies like Dil Se has been shot here. Being the capital of the ancient Nubra kingdom, you can still see the ruins of the former King’s palace, also known as the Elephant Palace by the locals. Also, you must have seen camels of Rajasthan, we have it here also, but with a stark difference. The camels of Hunder are of a different species, and they have double humps, unlike the normal single humped camels. You will take a ride on these camels in the white desert. Moreover we will also explore the Hunder Village.
Arriving Turtuk: Many a times it is said, “The means should be as good as the goal”. It holds true for this trip. We will take you through Nubra while witnessing the white desert and the beautiful mountains. We will arrive to the traditional village of Turtuk by afternoon. This village is the last Indian village, as Indian borders touch Pakistan in this village.
Turtuk Waterfall: We will then take you to view the splendid waterfall of Turtuk. This waterfall, though not famous because of its rough terrains, is worth a visit and is very picturesque. You get to visit places like this only once in a lifetime.
Turtuk Museum: The museum is that of the past king of Baltistan. After a great view of nature, one needs to see the beauties created by humans as well. And surprisingly, the successors to the king of Turtuk, known as the Yabgo Dynasty, still exist. They used to rule the whole of Baltistan areas. How nice would it be go time travel back to the past? This is the closest to it we have.
Back to Nubra: After exploring the beautiful place called Turtuk, we will take you back to Nubra for the night so that you can rest well there.
Deskit Monastery: After a tasty breakfast, we will be returning to Leh via Deskit Monastery. It is one of the gorgeous monasteries of the Ladakh region. This monastery is famous for its view extending all over Nubra. You will get to see the awesomeness of the valley from the monastery. Click all the pictures you want to today! Make sure your camera has enough space in it!
Khardungla Again: Don’t think that looking at Khardungla again will not give you much thrill. It is one of those places which you will never get bored off. Also, you might have missed to take some angular photos. Well, you can do it!
Visit to monasteries: In pictures that our friends post, or the ones you see on internet, don’t the monasteries look beautiful? Visiting to monasteries will immerse you into the cultural beauty of Leh. Along with it, you will also witness the architectural beauty of these monasteries. You will get to interact with the monks and trust us, it will be really interesting. We will be visiting the most famous monasteries of Leh known as Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery and Shey Monastery.
Visit to Shey Palace: Shey is said to have been the summer capital of ancient Ladakh, Leh Palace being the winter capital. Shey Palace is a beautiful structure with a lot of history attached to it.
Stok Palace and Museum: The king of Stok Palace is said to have fought with forces from Jammu, many of the memories of which are stored in the palace museum at Stok. This is indeed one of the most beautiful palaces of the Ladakh region.
Sindhu Ghat: The name Hind is derived from the word Sindh, which is another name for Indus River. Like so many ghats elsewhere in India, we also have Sindhu ghat in Leh. The Indus Valley Civilization is said to have started on the banks of Indus River.
Changla: After a healthy breakfast, we leave for Pangong, the place which you have been dreaming about. On the way comes Changla, which is said to be the second highest motorable road, just behind the famous Khardungla. This place has an altitude of 5360 mtrs.
Pangong: Seeing nature’s beauty en-route and wildlife based on your luck, we reach Pangong by afternoon. This is the lake which Ladakh is famous for. This Lake expands in two counties – India and China. Pangong is said to change colors due to refraction of sunlight. This is the place which will get you many new followers on Instagram, and they will want to visit Leh more than ever!
Camping at Pangong: Ever watched a movie where couples / groups go for camping? How beautiful does it look? Well, we are going to do that as well. Imagine what a wonderful time you would have there with your loved ones. Solo is also not bad, if you want a spiritual rejuvenation.
Spangmik: This whole day is dedicated for you to do some cultural tourism. We will take you to villages and you can interact with the people and get together with nature! Who know, you might not get a chance this nice again. Spangmik is the village which we will be exploring in the morning. We will start our day with a hearty breakfast here. Imagine that you just woke up to the purest air you can breathe (though the air lacks some oxygen, but it’s pure!). This village is like the end of the world. It is on the borders of Tibet, which makes it all the more interesting.
Man-Merak: As some people call it the gem of Pangong, the Merak village is a little farther away from Spangmik and Man. It is such a serene village that you will not feel like leaving the place at all.
Camping again! : We will halt for the night in one of these villages. You can get connected to the people here as well as the nature. It is a place that you will never forget in your life.

Visit to Nyoma: Nyoma has its own beauty being at the Indo-China Border. It is established on the banks of the Indus River which doubles its beauty. There is small monastery as well. Nature and spirituality will give you an irresistible happiness.
Stay: We will halt for the night in Nyoma village. The locals are very hospitable and friendly, so do not worry about awkward moments with them.
Tsomoriri: After witnessing a wonderful stay in Nyoma, we reach Tsomoriri, which is located at an altitude of around 14800 ft. Tsomoriri is smaller in size than Pangong, but the view is as beautiful as Pangong. Tsomoriri is a protected land as “wetland reserve” and you will get to see a great deal of wildlife here.
Stay: We will halt for the night in Tsomoriri area and will continue with the exploration the next day.
Hot water springs: After breakfast, on the way to Tso Kar, we will stop at hot water springs in the area. Yes, it is real, hot water coming out from the belly of the earth. It is a place known for its true value and one of nature’s many miracles.
Tso Kar: We will reach Tsokar in the early afternoon. It is such a beautiful lake that people from all over the world come to visit here. Another great advantage of visiting this lake is that it will have lesser number of visitors than both Pangong and Tsomoriri. It is also a heaven for the bird watchers, as you can see many endangered species like the Brahmini duck, bar headed geese, crested grebe and most importantly, the black necked crane.
Return to Leh: After a memorable visit to nature’s most wonderful areas, we will return to Leh. On the way, you will find that the nature is so beautiful that you will be amazed. You would not feel like leaving that place. But alas! Nothing stays.
