Day 1 : Arrival New Delhi International Airport.
You will be met from your flight to Delhi International Airport by Summit Safari’s representative, and he will accompany you to your hotel in Delhi. Rest of the day is free at leisure to relax after the flight.
Day 2 : Local sightseeing in Delhi.
After breakfast, in the morning we will take you for a sightseeing tour of Delhi to view some of the famous sights of the town with. We will take a walking tour of the Old Delhi covering the Chandani Chowk, historic Red Fort, and the busy market. If interested we will arrange for a bicycle rickshaw ride in old Delhi or a Tuk- Tuk ( Three wheeler ) ride in New Delhi for you. We will also visit and the Raj Ghat, a memorial built for Mahatma Gandhi, a prominent figure in India’s struggle for freedom, Bangla Sahib Gurudwara ( a sikh shrine) , drive past Lutyen’s New Delhi and will also visit Gandhi Smriti, also known as the Birla house where –Mahatma Gandhi had lived the last 144 days of his life from 09 September 1947 to 30 January 1948 when he was assassinated in 78th year of life at Birla House Prayer Grounds by Nathuram Godse . Thus, the house treasures many memories of his life. We will also visit India Gate, drive pass through President House and Connaught Place. Later we Visit the tomb of Humayun an early Mughal structure made of red sandstone and white marble Second night in the same hotel in Delhi.
Day 3 : New Delhi to Varanasi ( By Flight).
Today Morning after Breakfast we will transfer you to New Delhi airport to board your flight to Varanasi , also known as Banares / Kashi, one of the oldest living cities in the world, it is the aspiration of every devout Hindu to die at Kashi, thus ensuring a direct passage to heaven. Varanasi has been a cultural centre of North India for several thousand years, and is closely associated with the Gange A boat ride, walk along the Ghats offer a glimpse of this spiritual significance, with the ablutions and rituals of pilgrims in the water , blazing funeral pyers on the steps and wafts of incense and chiming music all around . Varanasi’s name derices from its nituation on the banks of the Ganges, on the confluence of two legendary rivers, Varuna and Assi, It is said that the city rests on the trident of Lord Shiva thus imparting an incomparable energy to it. On arrival at Varanasi you will be transfer to the Hotel and later in the afternoon we will take you to visit Sarnath, just 10 kilometres from Varanasi, where Buddha preached his first sermon, setting in motion the Wheel of Law. Pilgrims travel around the world to Sarnath, which features monasteries constructed by Buddhists from several countries including China, Burma, Tibet and Japan . The tour includes a visit to the Sarnath museum, which houses rich collocations of Buddha and Bodhisattva sculptures and images that are considered among the finest works of Buddhist art in India. Later return back to Varanasi and in the evening you will be taken to Dasaswamedh, Ghats to witness the Ganga Aarti ceremony, The Ganga Aarti ceremony ( Worship of River ganges)/ Ganga) is performed every night on his banks of river Ganges at sunset. This beautiful ceremony is part of the evening puja or prayers. As the atmospheric carefully choreographed ritual. Bells are rung and the chanting and signing or hymns provide a fascinating and spiritual conclusion to the days end. Many devotees offer deeyas ( oil lamps ) to Mother Ganga with thanks and devotion for the light of the sun and for her divine light, and it is a moving sight to watch hundreds of miniature lamps float along the river.
Day 4 : Varanasi To Khajuraho ( By Flight).
Today we will take an early morning boat ride along the river Gangas and see the famous bathing ‘ghats’,the stone steps which lead down to the river where the gathered faithful ritually cleanse themselves. Later return back to the hotel and after breakfast we will drive and transfer you to the airp[ort in Varanasi to board you flight to Khajuraho. Khajuraho Group of Monuments is a group of Hindu and Jain temples in Madhya Pradesh state of India and are one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India. A thousand years ago, in the heart of India , artisans of the Chandela dynasty built the spectaculars temples at Khajuraho and were built between 950 and 1050, which were to become famed for their exquisite carvings and erotic sculptures. The sculptures, which were rediscovered by an English soldier in 1839, are said to partway the rite of creation in which both body and soul are involved. Of the original 85 temples. Only 22 now survive. On arrival at Khajuraho you will be met by our driver and he will transfer to you to the hotel. Rest of the day at Lesuire. Overnight stay in hotel at Khajuraho.
Day 5 : Local Sightseeing in Khajuraho visiting the famous Chandela Temples
Today after breakfast you will be met by your local guide to explore the Chandela Hindu temples, which represent some of the finest examples of temple architecture in northern India, The remaining temples have been beautiful restored and are in excellent condition. You visit the Kandariya Mahadeva, the Chatrabhul, Parswanath and Ghantai Temples, each for its beautiful design and architecture. Later by lunch return back to the hotel and rest of the time is free at leisure or you can visit the local market. Second night in the same hotel at Khajuraho.
Day 6 : Khajuraho to Agra Via Orchha and Jhansi ( drive 185 Km / 5 hrs and by Train from Jhansi
Today after Breakfast we will drive you to Orcha ( 165 kms/ 4 hrs). Straddling the Betwa River, Orchha is perhaps one of the most picturesque places in India. Founded in 1531, it remained the capital of a powerful Rajput kingdom until 1783. Its golden age was during the first half of the 17th century, when visited by the famous Mughal Emperor , Jahangir, Temples such as the Chatrabhuj and Lakshmi Narayan , along with the Jahangir Mahal Place are still in fairly good condition and one can get fabulous views of the surrounding countryside , as yet, relatively undiscovered by tourism. On arrival at Orcha have lunch in a local restaurant and later we will take you for the sightseeing of Orcha including some of the famous sights and temples such as the Chatrabhuj and Laxmi Narayan, along with the Jahangir Mahal Palace, which are still in fairly good condition, One can find fabulous views of the surrounding countryside as yet, relatively undiscovered by tourism. Later we will drive you to Jhansi ( 19 kms / 40 miuntes). Jhansi is situated between the Pahang and Betwa rivers. In 1861 Jhansi became a part of Gwallor state when the British Government rules in 1886. Throughout India the city is recogised as a sybol of bravery, courage and self-respect with particular reference to Queen Laxmi Bai who died in 1858 fighting for the independence of India against the British forces. You will board the Super fast Shatabdhi express train from Jhansi at 6:45 P.M to Agra Cantt Railway station arrival at 08:10 P.M. On arrival at Agra you will be met by our drive and he will transfer you to your hotel in Agra, where you will stay for 02 nights.
Day 7 : Local Sightseeing at Agra—Sunrise Visit The Taj Mahal.
Today early morning (05:30 A.M) your guide will take you to visit epitome of love, The Taj Mahal at Agra, which is one of the most graceful and extravagant monuments of the world. The Taj Mahal looks amazingly graceful from almost any angle and was built over a period of 20 years by 20,000 laborers and highly skilled craftsmen. Later we will drive back to the hotel and after breakfast around 10:30 A.M we will take you to visit The Agra Fort whose buildings, made of red sandstone and marble, are a mix of Hindu and Islamic architecture. You can also visit the Baby Taj the tomb was built by the Empress Noor Jahan in Memory of her father, ltmad-ud-daulah. An exquisite building, the ‘baby Taj’ is thought to be a forerunner of the Taj Mahal. Later you can have lunch in a local restaurant in Agra and can have some time for the Shopping of Inlay work in Agra. Later return back to the hotel and have some time to rest, before in the evening around around 06:00 P.M. we will take you to visit Kalakriti to view the “Mohabbat-the-Taj” a series of play, music and dance, depicting the saga of love. It is based on the true and immortal love story of Emperor Shajahan for Mumtaj Mahal- his beautiful wife, related to the story of Taj Mahal. The show will take you back to the times of the lavish lifestyle of Mughal era. Later on return back to your hotel in Agra. Second night in the same hotel at Agra.
Day 8 : Agra to Jaipur. ( drive 250 kms/ 6-7 hrs).
Today after breakfast we will drive you to Jaipur. In 1853, when the Prince of Wales visited Jaipur, the whole city was painted pink to welcome him during the regime of Sawai Ram Singh. Today, avenues remain painted in pink, provide a distinctive appearance to the city and providing it , it’s English name “The Pink City”. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan state. The City was Founded on 18 November 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Enroute we will visit the Chand Baori (a step well) situated in the village of Abhaneri. It was built by King Chanda of the Nikumbha Dynasty between 800 and 900 AD and was dedicated to Hashat Mata Goddess of Joy and Happiness upon completion. It is one of the oldest and most attractive landmarks in Rajasthan. On arrival at Jaipur Check in to the hotel and rest of the day is Free at Leisure, or you can go for a miniature painting workshop in the evening. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 9 : Local Sightseeing in Jaipur.
Today early morning after the breakfast around 08:00 A.M, we will leave the hotel to visit the17th century hilltop Amber fort. Being a perfect blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture, this fort attracts travellers from around the globe. Beautifully caparisoned elephants go up carrying visitors to the fort. These well cladded elephants make a joyride to Amber fort and in turn makes your travel to Amber fort a fascinating experience. Later on we will visit Jaigarh Fort, overlooking the palaces and city of Amer ( Amber), the world’s biggest cannon on wheels- The Jai Ban is positioned here. The fort offers the amazing view of the city below. Later on return back to Jaipur and have lunch in a local restaurant. Later after the lunch we will take you to visit the city palace and the Jaipur observatory ( Jantar Mantar). Later on return back to the hotel by evening. Second night in the same hotel in Jaipur.
Day 10 : Jaipur to Jodhpur ( drive 340 kms / 6 hours).
Today after breakfast we will drive you to Jodhpur. Enroute we will stop for comfort break , where you can have something light to eat. Jodhpur is also famous as the "The Sun City"(due to bright sunny weather) and was founded by Rao Jodha, a chief of the Rathore clan, in 1459. It is named after him only. Jodhpur , was previously known as Marwar province and was one of the princely state during the British Rule in India. Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan. It is divided into two parts - the old city and the new city. The old city is separated by a 10 kms. long wall and has eight Gates leading out of it. The new city is outside the walled city. Jodhpur city is also referred as the "Blue City" due to the vivid blue-painted houses below the Mehrangarh Fort, in the old part of the town.
On arrival at Jodhpur Check in to the hotel and rest, before we take you to visit the Clock tower market and Spice market in Jodhpur. Later return back to the hotel..
Day 11 : Jodhpur Local sightseeing.
Today after breakfast we will visit the famous Mehrangarh Fort, which is one of the most impressive forts in all Rajasthan. So colossal are its proportions that Rudyard Kipling called it “ the work of giants”. Today, it is acknowledged as one of the best preserved fort in India. The magnificent Mehrangarh fort is set high on a hill overlooking the city . Inside are some of the most intricately ornamented palaces with exquisitely carved panels and latticed windows. The palaces all have evocative names: the Moti Mahal, or Pearl Palace, the Pool Mahal, or Flore Place, and the Sukh Mahal , or Pleasure Palace The ramparts of the Fort offer sunning views of the blue-painted Brahmin houses for which the city is famous. We will also visit the Jaswant Thada - a cenotaph, built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur ( Marwar) in 1899 in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. It serves as the burial ground for the rulers of Marwar. You can have lunch at a Local restaurant On The Rocks in Jodhpur and later after lunch we will drive you to visit Bishnoi Villages ( a group of couple of villages where people from Bishnoi community lives), some 25 kms far from Jodhpur. This will provide you a glimpse of rich cultural, traditions and life of the people of Marwar ( Jodhpur), living in the villages of Thar Desert, and in some ways give our sincere efforts to help the poor and needy local people in this water scarce regions of Rajasthan Thar Desert. We will visit Salawas village (Weavers village), Kakani (Potter's and block printers village), Gudha village (Where you can spot wild life & visit to Bishnoi families. Later return back to the hotel for the second night in Jodhpur.
Day 12 : Jodhpur to Udaipur via Rankapur Jain temples. ( drive 280 kms / 5-6 hrs).
Today after breakfast we will drive you to Udaipur. Enroute we will visit the famous Jain temples at Ranakpur -- The cluster of temples, made of intricately sculpted white marble, come across as a marvelous feat of architecture. It would take anyone by surprise to learn that they were built in 1460, so well preserved & sparkling is the marble. The main temple is supported on 1,444 pillars – none of which is similarly carved. After the visit, continue drive to Udaipur ( 90 kms / 2.30 hrs). On arrival at Udaipur check in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Set on the shores of Lake Pichola and surrounded by the Aravalli Hills, Udaipur has a stunning location . The City Palace is on of the largest palace complexes in the world and still home to the Maharana and his family. On Lake Pichola itself the famous Lake Palace , now a luxury hotel, appears to float on the water, whilst high on a forested peak outside the city sits the spectacular Monson Palace

Outside the temple precincts, your local guide will highlight the striking features of this exquisite temple complex. To secure an audio guide you may be asked of a non-refundable deposit and / or a photo ID. The deposit and / or the photo ID will be returned to you, when you return the audio guide.
Day 13 : Local sightseeing around Udaipur.
Today we will take you for the sightseeing tour of the beautiful city of Udaipur, also known as the city of Lakes. We will visit the City Palace which is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan; comprising many buildings added at different times by various maharajas. Perhaps the most beautiful are the Moti Mahal with its mirror inlay and the Chini Mahal with its iridescent tile work. Amer Mahal , which is believed to have inspired Shah Jahan to build the Taj Mahal, houses the silver museum. On display at the silver museum are several objects, owned by the royal family of Udaipur since the 8th century. At the nearby Jagdish Temple, there is an impressively carved image of Lord Vishnu, to whom the temple Is dedicated. Jagdish temple, a fine Indo Aryan temple built in 1651, Sahelion ki Bari or Garden of the Maids of Honour, which is a small garden with its fountains, kiosks, marble elephants & lotus pool. Later after the lunch we will take you to visit the Monsoon Palace( Sajjan garh Palace) overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake .The palace offers a panoramic view of the city's lakes, palaces and surrounding countryside. It was built chiefly to watch the monsoon clouds; hence, appropriately, it is popularly known as Monsoon Palace In the evening we can take a boat ride on Lake Pichola. Second night in the same hotel In Udaipur.
Day 14 : Fly from Udaipur To New Delhi or to Mumbai.
Today morning after breakfast you will be transfer to Udaipur airport to board your, flight to New Delhi or to Mumbai as per your travel intrest, where on arrival you will met by the Summit Safari’s representative and your driver and they will drive you to your hotel . Rest of the Day is free at Leisure.
Day 15 : Fly back to your country.
Today after breakfast our driver will drive you to the international airport, from where you will board your flight back to home.
This is where the tour ends. However, if you wish to stay longer or want to take extension tour, we can make arrangements for you to be transferred to the airport at a later time.
