• Day 1 : Arrive Bangalore

  Arrive Bangalore. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
• Day 2 : In Bangalore

  Morning Sightseeing of the city with Vidhana Soudha, the beautiful botanical gardens of Lal Bagh, St Mark’s Cathedral and enjoy some shopping at MG road. Overnight stay.

  Morning drive to Ooty railway station . We board the famous miniature steam train from Ooty at 15.00 hrs which drops at Coonoor. The train trip offers stunning view points and is definitely a memorable experience. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay.
• Day 7 : In Coonoor

  After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Ooty visiting - Botanical garden (the most popular place of interest in Ooty), Doddabeda (Highest peak of Tamil Nadu) & the Market at the main town. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

• Day 14 : Madurai - Thanjavur by road 180 Kms / 04 Hrs Approx

  Early morning drive to Thanjavur. Upon arrival check-in at your hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of famous Thanjavur city, visiting the beautiful Chola Temple of Brihadeeshwara. The temple is capped by a monolithic cupola made of a single granite block weighing 80 tones, which was taken to the top with the help of a 6 km long ramp, an old technique used by the Egyptians for building the Pyramids. It’s bronzes and handicrafts make Thanjavur one of the highlights of a visit to South India. Overnight stay.
• Day 15 : Thanjavur - Pondicherry by road 177 Kms / 05 Hrs Approx

  Morning drive to Pondicherry. En route visiting Chidambaram & Kumbakonam. Chidambaram is situated between two rivers in a 40 acre temple complex & here lies the temples of Chidambaram, one of the oldest, most venerated and magnificent temples of South India. Shiva Natraja or the Dancing Shiva stands in his cosmic dance pose in the golden rooted sanctum sanctorum. Flanking the temple are 108 sculptured illustrations of Bharat Natya Shastra. In Akash Lingam hidden by a veil, lies the real secret of Chidambaram.
  
  Kumbakonam is a very important Temple City of South India. Kumbakonam is one of the oldest towns in Tamil Nadu and is famous for its Mahamaham festival. In the 7th Century it was the Capital of Chola Kings. Visit the Kumbeshwaran Temple. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.

Afternoon excursion to Kanchipuram, which was under the Pallavas from the 6th to 8th century AD and later became the citadel of the Cholas, Vijaya-nagar Kings, the Muslim and the British.
