The Dmz-phong Nha Cave Package

Package Overview

Pick up at your hotel in Hue then we head north for Phong Nha cave. On the way we stop off to visit the DMZ with Peace bridge across the Ben Hai river, the river that was the only true physical demarcation line between the two Vietnams. The next stop is Vinh Moc tunnels, the refuge of some 400 north Vietnamese refugees during the bombing operation "Rolling Thunder." Keep heading north to Phong Nha cave. Lunch en route. On arrival at Phong Nha cave site, we will take a boat cruise on the picturesque Son river to explore 600 meter stretch of the underground river and magnificent grottos of Bi Ki, Fairy and Royal Court named for what the shapes of stalagmites and stalagtites look like. The deeper we penetrate, the more magical are the natural aspects of the cave. Drive all the way to Hue from the cave. Overnight in Hue.
