Day 1 : Arrival Phnom Penh
Arrival Phnom Penh: Upon arrival, Our local guide and driver will meet you at the airport waiting hall with welcoming board. We then transfer to your hotel for check in. Free time for you. Stay overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 2 : Phnom Penh city tour
After breakfast, you will visit the famous Royal Palace, which is the royal residence of the king of Cambodia, and then take a visit to Silver Pagoda, National Museum and Wat Phnom.
Have lunch at Bopha Phnom Penh
In the afternoon, enjoy your tour to Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, 'Tuol Sleng was earlier a primary school and a lycee (Tuol Svay Prey) and became, during the regime of Pol Pot, a major place of torture and death. Choeng Ek 'Killing Fields' (late 1970s), A living memorial, Choeng Ek's grassy fields mark the site of the 'Genocidal Center' (or 'Killing Fields' from film) where tens of thousands lost their lives. Day 3 : Phnom Penh - Kratie via Kampong Cham
Phnom Penh – Kg. Cham – Kratie: Driving to Kampong Cham, soak in the scenery of rural Cambodia and pass through a cashew nut plantations, rice fields, and traditional villages, the town Centre of Kampong Cham, a former French trading post on the banks of the Mekong. Stop at Skun Village visit Spider Farm and local market which you can try some local snack as French Spider, cockroach, and BBQ Frogs. Arrive in Kratie and check in at hotel. In the afternoon, city tour of this small provincial town with its good examples of sumptuous colonial architecture. This tiny town on the Mekong is an unexpected delight, with a relaxing, indolent atmosphere. The journey begins along the Mekong River basin through the villages of Sambok, Sre Sbov and Phumi Prek Preah. The Mekong River, which rises in Tibet, flows 315 km through Cambodia before continuing on through Vietnam to the sea. Further north stop at the best riverside vantage point from which to view the rare freshwater Irrawaddy dolphins which can be best seen late afternoon. Overnight in Kratie.
Day 4 : Kratie - Mondulkiri
Today, after breakfast at Hotel, we start your journey Mondulkiri (Senmonrom), the home of Elephants & Natural Waterfalls. After check in at Hotel & have lunch at local restaurant, we will start tour visit: * Exploration Trekking of jungle about 45mn * Visit hill tribe village * Visit Waterfalls Bu Sra * Visit Phnong villages Stay overnight at Hotel
Day 5 : Full day in Mondulkiri
Today, we will join with group for sanctuary of ethical elephant experience & spirit forest hike. (8.30am – 8.45am): Sen Monorom Pick up from your Hotel (8.45am – 9.10am): Elephant Rock and Scenic valley views. After being picked up, we drive south to the Sanctuary (12km, about 15 minutes from Sen Monorom). Our starting point is at an ancient tribal worship place called “Elephant Rock”, plus sees some panoramic views of the Romnear valley. (9.15am – 10.45am): Morning hike through Mondulkiri Sanctuary, Spirit forest and the Information center. We arrive at the Sanctuary’s main gate, which offers some lovely views over the Romnear rainforest corridor that is now protected from logging and other negative human impact, by the Mondulkiri Sanctuary. We begin the day with hiking through the Sanctuary’s Reforestation Project Area. Arriving at the Spirit forest, where we will learn about the importance of protecting this special place. During the morning hours, there is a fair chance to observe wildlife. We will occasionally stop to observe points of natural interest and to enjoy the jungle views over the valley. We then start heading towards the Information center, where you get to know more about the conservation community, projects & goals and see how we make a difference by developing the Sanctuary. (10.45am – 12.00pm): Sanctuary Wildlife & Elephant discovery walk. We will then take a relaxing scenic hike through the beautiful rainforest, while stopping along the way and looking for signs of wildlife roaming, resting or feeding in the Sanctuary’s rainforest. After this peaceful experience we will look for and meet up with the elephants foraging and being free. Watch the elephants eat bamboo, grasses and select different plant roots as natural medicine. Your guide will talk to you about the local elephants and their relationship with the Bunong indigenous people of Mondulkiri. (12.00pm – 2.00pm): Secret Waterfall, lunch and swimming. It’s time to have lunch, rest and relax in some hammocks and go for a refreshing swim at the Sanctuary’s natural waterfall. The rainforest surrounding the falls is a good place to see wildlife and many species of birds. You will also see our renewable energy system and water pumping station. (2.00pm – 3.30pm): Elephant pool and the frontline battle. After missing the hottest part of the day, we meet up with our happy elephants and slowly walk down to the elephant pool. Daily washing, grooming and mud bath is important to keep their skin moist, protected and healthy. Next, it is time to lend a hand and have fun washing the elephants in the Otey river, then give them a fresh mud coat. The elephants also love grooming each other, scratching against trees and playing in the mud. Elephant grooming session can get pretty messy! After getting cleaned up, we leave the elephants and head off to see the frontline! Between the Sanctuaries’s forest protection and rehabilitation project, battle against deforestation and farming pressures along the valley. We then return back to watch the elephants roaming and foraging freely, so make sure you take lots of photos of the elephants and other wildlife enjoying life in their natural environment. (3.30pm – 4.30pm): Goodbye and Tribal house. We say goodbye to the ellies and walk back out to our starting point. We then drive on to see a traditional tribal house and housewares, as well as relax for a drink overlooking the lovely Oromis valley, before driving back to Sen Monorom.
Day 6 : Mondulkiri - Rattanakiri
Sen Monorom – Banlung: After breakfast, stay good bye Sen Monorom and excursion by private car to Banlung, the city of Ratanakiri Province. Upon arrival overnight at Hotel.
Day 7 : Full day in Rattanakiri
Sightseeing Tours: Breakfast at the hotel, excursion by car on a bumpy road to discovery of the waterfalls in the jungle around Rattanakiri: Visit Cha Ung waterfall about 8 km Northwest of Banlung Town. It is the most impressive of them Then visit Kachan and Katieng waterfalls and enjoy the riding on the elephant through the jungle at Katieng Village Visit Yeak Lom Lake (Volcanic lake) and take a walk through this area to enjoy the peaceful scenery. You can take a bath at Yak Lom Lake Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 : Full in Rattanakiri
After breakfast departure to Voeun Sai district, arrival at Fain village (Sesan Royal Palace Hotel) pass across Sesan River by small boat visit the Ethnic minority village at Pakalan, 3Km Soutth of Voeun Sai @ take Lunch box After lunch, return to visit Kachon village. On the way back to Banlung visit the wide volcanic rock landscape at Veal Rumplan. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 : Rattanakiri - Siem Reap
Sort visit local market after breakfast, than continue trip to Stueng Treng provincial, close border between Cambodia & Laos. We spend 30mn by Ferry to Preah Vicher province, than drive 5hours to Siem Reap. During on the way our guide will stop some local school and visit villager who living along the way. Stay overnight in Seim Reap
Day 10 : Siem Reap - Banteay Srei
After breakfast at Hotel, we transfer by car to visit: Banteay Srei temple: nearly everyone's favorite site. The special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the excellence of it decorative carving. Banteay Samre temple: Its rose-colored sandstone walls are decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the most accomplished Angkor has to offer. Pre Rup temple: The temple’s name is a comparatively modern one meaning "turn the body". This reflects the common belief among Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple, with the ashes of the body being ritually rotated in different directions as the service progressed.
Have lunch at Khmer Batchum Restaurant
Ta Prohm temple: embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers, the temple of Ta Prohm was used as a location in the film Tomb Raider. Although the film took visual liberties with other Angkorian temples, its scenes of Ta Prohm were quite faithful to the temple's actual appearance, and made use of its eerie qualities. Prasat Kravan – with its unique brick sculptures, Banteay Kdei – Surrounded by four concentric walls. Have relax nearby temple and enjoy cool fresh coconut arrange by your driver. Back to city & stay overnight at Hotel. Dinner show (on optional activity)
Day 11 : Full Day in Siem Reap
Early morning we start witness sunrise over Angkor Wat temple and listening singing birds over the ancient land of Angkor area. There are 2 options for your breakfast, we can do breakfast box which prepare from your hotel than looking a local restaurant or coffee shop nearby temple have breakfast. Option 2, after sunrise back to Hotel for breakfast, than continue tour with tour guide. Normally, we suggested client to have breakfast box, than visit temple. We continue visit: South Grate of Angkor Thom: is the best preserved. It is approached from outside via a causeway that extends about fifty meters across a moat. On each side of the causeway are railings fashioned with 54 stone figures engaged in the performance of a famous Hindu story: the myth of the Churning of the Ocean. Angkor Thom Temple Complex (BAYON): The temple is best known today for the gigantic face sculptures that adorn its thirty-seven surviving towers. Facing in four directions on each tower, the faces are thought to represent Lokeshvara, a Buddhist deity that projected benevolence outward to the four directions. Than view of Elephant Terrace & Prasat Suor Prat Towers, The twelve towers known as the 'Prasat Suor Prat' are located just to the east of the Royal Terraces in the vicinity of the Royal Palace. Continue visit: Preah Khan Temple: was probably built on the same spot where previous kings had kept their palaces. Preah Khan was more than just a monastery—it was an entire city enclosing a town of 56 hectares. About 100,000 farmers produced rice to feed about 15,000 monks, teachers, and students. Subsidiary buildings included a hospital, rest house, and rice granary. Return to city has lunch at Asian Square restaurant, than relax at your hotel. We will pick up about 15:30 for visit Angkor Wat Temple, is a spectacular temple in central Cambodia, built by the vanished Khmer empire. It was constructed during the reign of king Suryavarman II, who ruled from 1113 to at least 1145. Day 12 : Siem Reap/Tonle Sap - Departure
This morning after breakfast at Hotel, you have to check out. Then, transfer through the outskirts of Siem Reap to the Tonle Sap Lake. Board your boat and cruise through Tonle Sap, observing life on the lake as you travel past floating fishing villages that have their own schools, shops, hospitals and even crocodile farms! The lake is home to rare and endangered water birds and is unique for its flow of water, which changes direction twice a year. With the change in seasons, the lake has the ability to expand and shrink dramatically. At the height of the wet season, the lake can be more than 7,400 square miles (12,000 square kilometers) and provides half of the fish supply for Cambodia. On the return journey to Siem Reap, take the back roads into town and get a glimpse of daily rural activities, such as rice planting and harvesting, duck farming, and making the popular but smelly fish paste. Stop at a local Buddhist temple, chat with the villagers and try the local snacks. Have lunch at Madam Butterfly Restaurant Before transfer to Airport, if time limit we can visit Old market for some gifts to your friends and family. Say Goodbye Siem Reap, the Kingdom of Wonder!
