RANN is a salt marsh located in Kutch District of Gujarat. Rann is reputed to be the largest salt desert in the world and is about 7500 sq km. (That’s a lot of salt). Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Departure from Mumbai to Bhuj 980km (14 hrs long haul drive in a vehicle loaded with all camping gears packed food and an experienced well spoken driver experience of a life time) definitely includes lot of stops enjoying local delicacies and amazing view

• Day 2 : Visit to Black Hills

  Visit to Black Hills (KALO DUNGAR):- highest point of kutch at 462 meters . From here you can have a panoramic top view of the RANN, never ending sight that meets the sky. This is one of the place where a civilian can get closest to PAKISTAN border.
  Also there is a very old Temple of Lord Dattatreya approx 500 year old.
• Day 3 : Aaina, Prag Mahal and Bhuj

  The Aaina mahal also know as Hall of Mirror, is an 18th century built up, the mahal was bit destroyed in the recent 2001 earth quake, but its worth visit.

• Day 4 : Mandivi Beach

  Once the best beaches of northwest region on India
  Also has major attraction like a museum shopping and delicious foods and back to resort
• Day 5 : Dholavira

  Departure at 7:30am Around 350 km (6 hrs) from the RANN Dholavira is the only “INDUS valley civilization” in INDIA, which is approximately 5000 year old. Worth a visit to understand how people lived in a more civilized way in tune with the nature.
  Kutch wildlife sanctuary :- This is the largest saline wetland if u r lucky you can see flamingo, Donkeys (a lot of donkeys) and a flat snow white surface Expect the unexpected or expect nothing.
• Day 6 : Departure to Mumbai

  Departure to Mumbai and stop at (Laxmi vilas palace (Vadodara) 500km 9 hrs start at 8:00am : I don’t have words to express the beauty of this man made marvel .. its in Vadodara and can be covered while on the way back to Mumbai (It’s a must visit)
• Day 7 : Vadodara to Mumbai

  Vadodara to Mumbai 410 km ( 8 hrs ) Departure at 2:00pm post lunch reaching Mumbai at 22:00hrs
