The greater Samburu region (Samburu/Buffalo Springs/Shaba game reserves) are the best places to find several endemic Northern species; including the Gerenuk (twiga gazelle) due to her long neck, the beisa Oryx, the Reticulated Giraffe, the Somali ostrich and Grevy’s Zebra. Leopards are often seen at dusk. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Samburu National Reserve

  JAMBO - KARIBU!! Enchanted Destinations representatives will warmly meet you at your city hotel and transfer you to Wilson Airport for your scheduled morning flight to Samburu National Reserve where the lodge/camp’s driver guide & vehicle will meet you at the local airstrip. You will be transferred to your lodge/camp, have a short game drive viewing enroute for check- in, then have lunch. In the afternoon depart in the lodge/camp’s 4x4 customized safari vehicle with driver guide for game viewing to introduce you to the game in the area. Later return to you camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Full Day Samburu National Reserve

  Enjoy your scheduled morning and afternoon game viewing drives within the reserve. Enjoy meals and overnight stay at your camp/lodge.

• Day 3 : Departure

  Enjoy your breakfast then check-out. The good bush moments have come to an end. Bid farewell to your wonderful camp team, then transfer to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi. You leave with photographs – a capture of the special moments you have had on this tour to immortalize the experience. Our guide driver will meet you at the Wilson airport; transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your international flight.
