Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Mumbai

  Start the iconic Heritage Tour of India with a grand welcome carried out in accordance with Indian customs. Guests are then escorted to Chatrapati Shivaji Railway Station, Mumbai to board the Maharaja’s express and begin the tour happily. The trail will chug out to Ajanta where our guests will have a glimpse on the rich Indian history. Spend the overnight in lavishing cabins and suites of the train.

  Begin the second day of this tour with an onboard breakfast on the heritage tours Ajanta Caves. Proceed for an excursion to Ajanta caves dating back to 2nd BC or 480 or 650 AD. Soon after you reach the City of Lakes, Udaipur, you will proceed for a rejuvenating boat ride on the calm and serene waters of Lake Pichola followed by the grandiose tour of the City Palace. The royal palace shows a vast collection of ancient miniature paintings and a crystal gallery. One can either choose to return to the train for a relaxed afternoon or opt for the optional luxury services. The night stay will be onboard.

  Day five of the India Heritage Tour will proceed to Bikaner – the Camel country of Rajasthan. On-board breakfast with a quaint view of the countryside. As guests arrive in Bikaner, they can either choose to relax on board or may also choose to visit Lalgarh Museum, Deshnok Rat Temple, etc. Guests will have their lunch on board and then proceed to Junagarh Fort. Afterward, the Indian luxury heritage train journey will continue towards the Pink City, Jaipur.

  Begin your day with a lavishing breakfast onboard the Heritage tour of India. Arrive in Jaipur and begin your odyssey with a visit to the Amber Fort.
