• Day 1 : Helsinki

  Arrive at Helsinki airport, private transfer to your hotel and check in. Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is a vibrant seaside city of beautiful islands and great green parks. The city is laid back yet active in the number and quality of restaurants and nightclubs. In the evening, walk around Töölönlahti Bay in the heart of the city surrounded by beautiful parks.

  Breakfast. Take the SIC City Tour and see the main highlights include Helsingin Tuomiokirkko, Market Square, Temppeliaukio Church, Uspenskin Cathedral, Sibelius Park. The historic quarters between Market Square and Senate Square are home to numerous cafés and restaurants.

• Day 3 : Helsinki - Tallinn - Helsinki

  Breakfast. Enjoy a day trip to Tallinn. Take the ferry to Tallinn and on your own wander around the romantic Old Town. Discover the new trendy districts like Kalamaja and Noblessner with interesting sights, shops and restaurants. In the evening, take the ferry back to Helsinki.

  Breakfast. Check out. Private transfer to station. Take a train to Kuopio (approx 4 hours) in the Lakeland region. Kuopio is a thriving, modern city, where science and technology blends into the verdant natural beauty of the local environment. Arrive and check in at your hotel.
  Kuopio’s surrounding area is rich in natural beauty, flora and fauna. Visit the town centre’s vibrant open marketplace surrounded by modern shopping outlets, malls and the delightful Kuopion Kauppahalli (Market Hall).

  After breakfast, visit Kuopio Town Hall, Kuopio Cathedral and Männistö Church. In the afternoon visit the famous landmark of Kuopio - Puijo Peak. The ridge of Puijo is among a popular recreation area. The peak has an observation tower.

  Breakfast. Check out. Private transfer to station. Take the train to Kajaani (approx 2 hours), further in the Lakeland region. On arrival, private transfer to station. Arrive, private transfer to your hotel and check in. This picturesque town lies on the Oulujoki river and is famed for its fishing. The surrounding region includes the nature protection area Talaskangas and the Otanmäki Bird Basin. Explore on your own the oldest building in the centre of the town - the Town Hall, where you will find the Kajaani Art Museum. Return to hotel.

  Breakfast. Continue exploring the city on your own: the old tar channel, the gatekeeper’s house and the Jaeger monument. Visit the old library now an arts & crafts centre and Taito Shop Kainuun Pirtti. Find the ruins of famous Kajaani Castle and visit The Evangelic-Lutheran church. Be charmed by the famous wooden church in Paltaniemi.

• Day 8 : Kajaani - Rovaniemi (day train) - Midnight Sun Picnic

  Breakfast. Check out. Private transfer to station. Take a train to Rovaniemi (approx 5.30 hrs), in the Arctic region. Arrive, seat in coach transfer to your hotel and check in. Rovaniemi is the official hometown of Santa Claus.
  This evening, experience the midnight sun arctic picnic. The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon in the summer months north of the Arctic Circle when the sun remains visible at the local midnight. The tour takes you to the top of the Santavaara Hill.

  Breakfast. Visit the most exciting, popular destination in Finnish Lapland, in the Arctic Circle, north of Rovaniemi. Join the elves working in Santa's post office, send postcards to all your friends with a special stamp on them.

• Day 10 : Rovaniemi - Visit Reindeer Farm & Husky Park

  Breakfast. At the reindeer farm learn about the traditions of reindeer herding and feeding. Then, drive to meet Siberian huskies and learn from the guides at the Husky farm how they take care of the huskies, start preparing them for winter and how they live here.
