Day 1 : Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha
Welcome At Kilmanjaro Airport And Transfer To Moivaro Coffee Lodge For Dinner And Night.
Day 2 : Arusha - Kitumbeine : 35 Km On Tarmac + 160 Km On Sandy Trail (7 Hours)
Depart After Breakfast For 35 Km On Tarmac Up To Monduli Mountains Then On An Earth Road On The Edge Of The Great Rift With Breath Taking Views Over The Valley And Its Volcanoes. Then From Highlands Rolling Down Through A Steep Trail Into A Semi-Arid Valley, Land Of Masai People. First Encounter With Wildlife; Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Baboons... Picnic Lunch En Route. Arrive At Kitumbeine Campsite For A Break Then Go For Optional Enduro Climb Of Mount Kitumbeine Reaching The Limit Of Its Rain Forest, Overlooking The Great Rift Valley With Views Of Mount Kilimanjaro Whose Summit Seems Buoyant In The Clouds. Return Down To The Camp For Dinner And Night Under Camping Tent.
Day 3 : Kitumbeine - Lake Natron : 100 Km Of Sandy And Stony Trails (5 Hours)
Set Off After Breakfast. A Very Dusty Trail Rolls Down Into A Vast Valley Where Gnus, Zebras, Giraffes And Antelopes Assemble For Pastures And Water. Picnic Lunch Under The Precious Shade Of A Thorn Tree. The Last 50 Km Is A Sandy And Stony Track Cut In The Rift. This Leads To The Foot Of Oldonyo Lengai (2800 M A.S.L), “the Mountain Of God.” This Sacred Mountain Of The Masai Is A Semi-Active Volcano Surrounded By Deep Calderas Whose Sides Are Covered With Ashy Volcanic Lava. From There, A Sandy Road Takes You To The Lowest Point In Whole Rift Valley: The Shores Of Lake Natron, Which Is Also The World'S Largest Soda Lake. And Then Pure Scenic Splendour That Inspires In The Mind, The Image Of A Picture From The Moon. The Day Ends At A Campsite Managed By Local Masai Community. Visit By Foot Of The Spectacular Engare Sero Water Falls. Dinner And Night At Campsite.
Day 4 : Lake Natron - Ngorongoro: 150 Km Of Sandy And Stony Trails + 40 Km Of Tarmac (7 Hours)
Passing After Breakfast By The Lakeshore Whereby The Flamingos Feed. The Lake Is Also The Preferred Breeding Habitat For East African Flamingos. Then Depart On A Stony And Dusty Trail, Along The Rift, Passing By Engaruka A Masai Village And Arriving At Mto Wa Mbu Centre For Filling Up Tanks, A Big Local Market Situated Within The Greenery Of Luxuriant Tropical Vegetation Right At The Foothill Of The Great Rift Escarpment. A Tarmac Road Winds Up The Escarpment And Reaches Ngorongoro Forest Camp, A Superb Tented Camp Set At The Boundary Of Ngorongoro Reserve And Overlooking The Dense Rain Forest. Dinner And Night At The Camp.
Day 5 : Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Eyasi : Half Day Game Drive In Ngorongoro Crater + 70 Km On Earth Road (2 H
Depart After Early Breakfast To Ngorongoro Reserve Gate. Motorcycles Are Parked At The Rangers Post To Proceed By 4X4 For Ngorongoro Crater Tour. The Road Ascends A Rainforest Up To A Wonderful View Point Overlooking Ngorongoro Caldera 600 M Deep And 18 Km Wide. Descend To The Crater Through A Steep Trail For Viewing Ngorongoro Wildlife. Picnic Lunch In The Crater And Exit Up To The Gate To Get Back The Motorcycles And Depart To Lake Eyasi Another Soda Lake Up The Rift On Ngorongoro Volcanic Highlands. Settle At Campsite. Evening Ride By Car To Encounter With Hadzabe Pygmy Tribe Living From Hunting. Return To Campsite For Dinner And Night Under Camping Tent.
Day 6 : Lake Eyasi - Tarangire : 130 Km Dirt Road And 40 Km Tarmac (4 Hours)
Leave After Breakfast Down To Lake Manyara. Finishing By 30 Km Off-Road Along Lake Manyara Shores With Close Encounter With Gazelles, Wildebeest And Zebras. Arrive Midday To Check In At Whistling Thorns Camp, An Eco-Friendly Camp Managed By Local Masai Community At The Boundary Of Tarangire National Park. Picnic Lunch And Game Drive By 4X4 In Tarangire National Park Till Sunset. Return For Dinner And Night At The Camp.
Day 7 : Arangire - Arusha - Kilimanjaro Airport : 90 Km Dirt Road + 60 Km Tarmac + 1 Hour Transfer
Leave After Breakast For 80 Km Of Trails Then Finish 60 Km On Tarmac To Arusha. Shower And Lunch At Moivaro Lodge. Evening Transfer To Kilimanjaro Airport For Your International Return Flight.
