Day 1 :
Upon arrival you are met by our representatives and transferred to a hotel of your choice in Nairobi.
Day 2 :
Travel from Nairobi down the Rift Valley through Nakuru where you undertake in game viewing as well as bird watching with a particular interest on of the striking flamingos which give Lake Nakuru the pink color and get a glimpse of the endangered white rhino before proceeding on to Kisumu. Over night at Imperial hotel.
Day 3 :
After morning breakfast you will have an optional city excursion;view the source of river Nile, the largest fresh water lake in the world- Lake Victoria. Proceed on to Kakamega and en route, view the crying stone, come across the real old style gold rush and the indigenous Kakamega forest which is also a cultural site. Overnight at the Rondo Retreat Centre.
Day 4 :
After morning breakfast leave for a unique National park in Kenya which is home numerous birds species, butterflies, insects, trees, shrubs, not found anywhere else in Kenya. Upon arrival,proceed to the foot of Mt Elgon where you embark on a tour of Mt Elgon National park where we have herds of buffaloes, elephants, and elands, moorland slopes, splendid bird life and caves filled with bats very interesting experience. Dinner and overnight at your guest house at the foot of the mountain.
Day 5 :
After morning breakfast travel to the town of Kitale arriving at Saiwa swamp famous for the rare yet unique antelope with spiral horns, "sitatunga" this is the smallest park in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at Kitale club
Day 6 :
Embark on a safari to Kapenguria a historical attraction site and view the colonial jails. Drive via Cherangani hills to Kongelai escarpment, then travel South towards Nakuru. Dinner and overnight Bontana Hotel..
Day 7 :
After an early breakfast we embark on a game drive at Lake Nakuru National park; a sanctuary for the endagered black and white rhino. Lake Nakuru has over 400 bird species not forgetting the beautifull pink flamingoes which dot the lake pink . Lunch at Naivasha Elsamere Conservation Centre. Return to Nairobi and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport.
