Package Overview

The lions that figure in the stories off the Bible and ranged through Persia to North of India are now confined to a tiny pocket in the Saurashtrian Peninsula in Western India.
Called the Asiatic Lion, little more than two hundred of these magnificent animals survive in the 300 sq. km. Of Gir National Park. Gir also has a large population of Leopards that are more easily seen here than elsewhere. Also to be seen are Samber, Chital, Chinkara, Chousingha, Nilgai and wild boar. North of Gir is the little Rann of Kutch where the last stand of wild asses survive. They are found in herds of 30 or so and are capable of standing with great dehydration. This is also a guest place for Cranes, flamingoes and lots of other birds found in large numbers.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  On arrival at the airport Vardhman’s Representative will meet and greet you and will directly proceed to Velavadar(Blackbuck National Park).
  Overnight at Hotel
• Day 2 :

  Early morning after breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Marshall Sasanhir Gir Lion Sanctuary in the forests, and take a jeep safari thereon. Gir spreads in a total area of 1412 sq km. Some rare species Including the Asiatic Lion can only be found in the forests of Gir. The great Indian bustard in bird book, the world’s only four horned antelope, and the aqua specie the Dugong Are some unique feature of Gujarat wildlife.

• Day 3 :

  Morning and Afternoon excursion in the park.

• Day 4 :

  After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Little Rann in Zainabad. You may explore Rann of Kutch in the evening.

• Day 5 :

  This morning after a leisurely breakfast at the hotel proceed for a full day excursion to the Rann of Kutch.
  Overnight at Hotel
• Day 6 :

  Morning at leisure.
  Later, we will transfer you to the Ahmedabad or Bhavnagar airport for your onward journey.
