Package Overview

Ream National Park situated 18 kilometers east of Sihanoukville. Mangrove forest supports a rich diversity of flora and fauna. You can visit the estuary, lowland evergreen forest, sandy beach and so on. The park, which has been open since 1993, encompasses 21,000 hectares including 15 000 hectares of terrestrial and 6000 hectares of marine habitats. This Cambodian national park offers secluded beaches, mangroves forests, tropical jungles, 155 different species of birds, monkeys.

Prek Teuk Sap Estuary, which is salty in the dry season and freshwater in the wet season. Endangered birds that feed on the mudflats include the lesser adjutant, milky stork and painted stork. The park’s more common feathered residents include the great egret, little egret, woolly-necked stork, black-capped kingfisher and stork-billed kingfisher. Take an amazing river cruise along Prek Teuk Sap Estuary about 1.30hrs you will enjoy the real natural view of Mangrove Forest.

Thomr Thom Village one of the small village in Ream National Park with about 40-50 Family their main job is fishing. After the river cruise arrive Thmor Thom Ranger Station start a visit to the only primary school in the Village and the local people house to learn their standard living then continues hiking to Koh Sam Pouch Beach.

Koh Sam Pouch Island is one of the islands in Ream National Park with the white sandy beach and the best place to relax.

Mediation Mountain (Phnom Samathi)

Which is a place of worship for many Khmers, and offers a great view of the park from the top for the villagers Meditation Mountain (Phnom Samathik) is the preferred area to gather medicinal plants. They believe the plants on the mountain are endowed with extraordinary potency by genies who dwell among the boulders. Incense sticks smolder in the rock clefts to honor the spirits. Many big piece of Natural stone are carve to be Buddha Status.
