Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi - Guwahati

  Fly from Delhi to Guwahati (Assam). Relax and Overnight stay in a Hotel.
• Day 2 : Guwahati - Bhalukpong

  Today we&'ll head to Bhalukpong (Arunachal Pradesh), which is a 5 Hrs drive. On arrival we'll check into camps. Evening will be at leisure and dinner will be served. Overnight stay at a camp.
• Day 3 : Bhalukpong - Seppa

  After breakfast we'll start our drive to Seppa, which will again take about 5 to 6 hrs. Overnight stay in a hotel.
• Day 4 : Seppa - Marjangle

  Today we drive again for 4 hours to Marjangle and set up camps. On reaching we'll get our rafts & gear ready for the expedition. Walk down the beach and enjoy the twittering of the birds and the sound of rushing water. In the evening we'll have a campfire, where we'll have a briefing about the coming days on the river.
• Day 5 : Marjangle - Riga Village Camp

  Today our Rafting expedition begins. The expedition starts with a few easy rapids and as we drift through the thick forest we get to encounter some good Grade 4s. By afternoon, we'll end our days journey and set up camps on a sandy beach.
• Day 6 : Riga Village - Vasang Village

  Today we paddle through a gorge which provides some stunning views. We'll encounter some bouncy grade 3 rapids with lot of small streams & rivers joining in. As we leave the first gorge, we float through the Seppa town to pitch camp on a sandy river beach. Overnight at camps.
• Day 7 : Vasang - Bana village

  The day starts with an easy float section as we go away from the villages into the remote gorge of the Kameng, where there are good grade 3-4 rapids before we reach camp at the rivers confluence.
• Day 8 : Bana Village

  Layover Day As the heading says today you wake up late, laze around the camp or take a nature walk & explore the remote gorge around, sunbathe, bird watch, try a hand at fishing or just lie on the beach & read a book.
• Day 9 : Stamped Camp

  This is a great section of the Kameng River as the Bichom River joins it, increasing volume adding punch to the rapids. Here we encounter grade 4 rapids. We scout the river and run it accordingly. Set up camp in the afternoon and rest our aching muscles. This is the most remote section on the Kameng River.
• Day 10 : Stamped Camp - Below Dam site camp

  The day on the river has a grade 4 section with long rapids. We raft past the dam site with some amazing full on whitewater. Set up camp by a rapid tonight to celebrate the last evening around the campfire.
• Day 11 : Dam site Camp - Bhalukpong

  The last day on the river has a lot of grade 3-4 rapids & a stunning gorge. Raft to Bhalukpong - the takeout point where the river slows down as it enters the plains. Overnight stay at a hotel.
• Day 12 : Tezpur - Guwahati - Fly Delhi

  We drive back to Guwahati & fly back to Delhi with some great memories of the Kameng River.
