Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Madurai – Thekkady (150 Kms)

  Pickup from Madurai and drive to Thekkady covering a distance of 150 kms / 4 hrs through cardamom hills. Check into the Hotel after lunch takes a boat ride on the lake and the Periyar dam. Boating will take approximate 2 hours and you can also get rare glimpses of wild animals. The forest department offers many programs including periyar tiger trail, nature walk, bamboo rafting, etc. Plantation tourism also is promoted by private agencies, so that the tourists can see and learn the cultivation of various spices of Kerala. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

• Day 2 : Thekkady – Munnar (100 Kms)

  Morning Checkout the hotel drives to Munnar. Arrive Munnar at Afternoon. Munnar is one of the most famous hill station situated on the Western Ghats at the height of 1600 meters above the sea level. It is essentially a tea town – miles of unending tea plantation can be seen here. Sightseeing Rose Garden, Photo Point, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and the Kundala Lake & Top Station. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake.
  
  Optional Activities at Munnar: Motor Boat or Speed Boat Ride at Mattupetty Dam, Elephant Safari, Trekking, Ayurveda Massage etc.
  
  Overnight stay in Hotel at Munnar.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys, Trekking

• Day 3 : Munnar – Madurai (170 Kms)

  After Breakfast Check out the Hotel visit Eravikulam National Park which is also known as Rajamala, the natural habitat of Nilgiri Thar. Nilgiri Thar can be observed very closely here. Evening return back to Madurai. Drop at Madurai Airport / Bus / Railway Station.
