Day 1 : Transfer from Siliguri to Thimpu
Arrival and transfer via Phuentsholing after processing tourist permit formalities, check out from Hotel & Transfer to Thimphu(2300 meter/ 7600 feet) 178KMS in 08Hrs. Thimphu lies in a beautiful valley, sprawling up a hillside on the west bank of the Thimphu CHHU River and has a total area of about 1809 sq. km. Visitors can enjoy relaxing walk in the valley at evening. Overnight stay at Thimpu.
Day 2 : Full Day Thimpu city tour.
After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), National Memorial Chorten (Monument) and Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit, Changangkha Monastery, Taking Preserve Centre, Taking, the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3 : Transfer from Thimpu to Punakha/Wangdue with half day sightseeing.
After breakfast drive to Punakha / Wangdue (1200 meter/ 3960 feet) 77 Km in 3 hrs. On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.). to view the higher Himalayas. Arrival at Punakha check in at hotel. After noon visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952.
After that take a short excursion trip to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine
Mad Man”. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Punakha / Wangdue.
Day 4 : Morning after breakfast, drive to Gangtey
The valley of Gangtey, is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled places in Bhutan. The surprise of finding such a wide, flat valley without any trees after the hard climb through dense forests is augmented by an impression of vast space, and is an extremely rare experience in Bhutan where most of the valleys are tightly enclosed. A few kilometers beyond the Gangtey Monastery, on the valley floor lies the fascinating
valley of Phobjikha. Afternoon visit Gangtey Goempa (monastery), perched on a ridge overlooking the valley. Then a walking excursion to Gangtey Nature Trail. This pleasurable walk provides you a nice feel of Phobjikha valley. Later return drive to Punakha / Wangdue for overnight stay.
Day 5 : Transfer from Punakha/Wangdue to Paro with local sightseeing.
After breakfast drive to Paro (2267 mt./7,483 ft.) 140 Km in 5 hrs. On the way stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park - The park contains a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna and features a huge species of plants and animals including endangered species. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Rinpung Dzong - Meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 6 : Full Day Paro city tour
After breakfast, visit the National Museum housed in the Ta-Dzong which was built in 1656 and served as the watch tower of Paro Dzong in the past. Visit Paro Dzong, also called the Rinpung Dzong, which means fortress on a heap of Jewels. Paro Dzong is one of the most impressive and well-known dzongs of Bhutan and was built in 1644. After lunch, proceed towards Drukgyel Dzong,also known as the fortress of victory Drukgyel Dzong was built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1649 to commemorate the victory over Tibetan invaders in 1644. Evening stroll around the local market. Overnight at Paro.
Day 7 : Transfer from Paro to Siliguri.
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Phuentsholing. (Distance: 360 kms.
/ Driving Time: 8 hrs. / Altitude of Phuentsholing: 293 mts.)On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Siliguri.
Day 8 : Transfer from Siliguri to NJP/ Bagdogra Airport.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Train Station / IXBAirport for departure.(Distance: 20 kms. / Driving Time: 1 hrs. / Altitude of NJP/IXB: 89 mts.)

40% cancellation charge of the total package cost if cancelled between 15 to 7 days before arrival
50% cancellation charge of the total package cost if cancelled between 7 to 1 days before arrival
No refund is possible in case of cancellation after the tour starts.
No refund is possible if the tour is cancelled due to bad weather, civil/political disturbance, or anything beyond
human control. But in such cases there will be full cooperation from the entire CYT team to make an alternate
arrangement.
