Package Overview

Pratapgad Fort is a mountain fort built by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The fort is at a distance of 24 km from the hill station of Mahabaleshwar. The fort holds a sturdy view of coastal Konkan. The Bhavani Temple and Afzal Khan's tomb are other places of interest.

Pratapgad Fort is divided into 2 parts namely the lower fort and upper fort. The upper fort was constructed upon the crest of a hill and is approximately 180 m long on each of its sides having numerous permanent edifices. There is a shrine of Lord Mahadev, positioned towards the northwest portion of the fort, bordered by cliffs of height above 250 m. On the other hand, the lower fort is sited at the southeast end of the fort, being defended by tall towers and strongholds which are 10-12 metre high.

Winding roads, a cool breeze at all times, vantage points offering breathtaking views of hills and valleys, plenty of strawberries to gorge on and a main street full of shops offering all kinds of curios and snacks.   Visit to old temples in Wai- Kashivishveshwar, Mahaganpati.
  Visit to old temples in Mahabaleshwar- Mahabaleshwar, Atibaleshwar, Panchaganga, Krushnamai, Shri Hanuman.
  Visit to Wada Kumbharushi.
  Visit to Pratapgad; Experience the glorious past in "Lights of Mashaal".
  Dinner, campfire, other acivities and stay at Wada Kumbharushi.

• Day 2 : Pratapgad Trek

  After breakfast, trek to Pratapgad through 'Jawali Jungle'.
  We visit to: Mahadarwaja, Dindi, Tehalani Buruj, Dusara Darwaja, Rahat Talav, Teesara Darwaja, Bhawani Devi Mandir, Sabhamandap, Deepmaal, Maruti Mandir, Bale Killa- Rajwada.
  Statue of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Gode Tale, Nasake Tale, Yashwant Buruj, Redaka Buruj, Ghorpadiche Shilp, Chor Darwaja, Kedareshwar Mandir, Sadar.
  Lunch: Nature Trail in Jawali Jungle and Ranmeva collection.
  Visit to Pratapgad; Experience the glorious past in "lights of Mashaal".
  Visit to Ramwardayani temple and Visit to old river bridge built under Shivaji Maharaj's observation
• Day 3 : Visit to Paar

  After breakfast, visit to historical Ramvardayani temple.
  Visit to Koyana river bridge built by Shivaji Maharaj.
  Visit to 'Afzal Khan chavani' place.
  After lunch, visit to Mapro garden.
