Package Overview

Trip Highlights

Both Shishapangma and Cho Oyu expedition is watch over by the precinct of Tibet.
Nepal too, has developed more acceptable consistency for the expedition with these Mountains.
Shishapangma and Cho Oyu both is "apple of eye" for the world's expeditionist.
It is measured that Shishapangma is less mournful than Cho Oyu for the expedition.
Mounting route of Cho Oyu is more snow steep slope than Shishapangma.
Both expeditions have need of grit and gumption whilst scaling up to its summit point.
At its highest point mountaineers can delve unrivaled vistas of various mountains comprising Mt, Everest.
The most inevitable gears i:e boots, ice axes, crampons, oxygen bottles, harness, tying knot, helmet, handling ropes, ascending/descending devices, warm clothing and so on.
One to one well informed Sherpa climbing guide will lead all the routes throughout this expedition.
Shishapangma and Cho Oyu Expedition first climbed by H, Ching and nine other climbers via Tibet route in 1964, was opened to foreign climbers only in 1978. Shisapangma is one of the easiest to climb among the other 8,000 meter high mountains and it also has the high rate of successful ascends. The mountain is located in central Himalaya and lies totally within Tibet. When the mountaineers think of Himalaya expedition with the objective of reaching the top of 8000 meter peak with comparatively little efforts, Shishapangma in Tibet would be a good choice for climbing.

If you’re thinking of attempting the top of 8,000 peaks with comparatively less effort, then we advise you to ascend ‘Shishapangma’ from the Tibet side, as its relatively easy to climb. Our route picks up from Nyalam, 33km from the Nepal - Tibet border, up to the Chinese base camp at an altitude of about 5000-5400m.

Cho Oyu, first attempted by the Austrian team of mountaineers via Tibet route in 1954, has only been gaining popularity since recently. Cho Oyu (8201 meters), the sixth highest mountain in the world is one of the easiest to climb among the other 8,000 meter high mountains. The south face of Cho Oyu, facing Nepal is steep and challenging, hence it’s rarely attempted. While, the north side of the mountain from Tibet side is relatively moderate, and has a safe route to the mountain as well. As a result, most of the Cho Oyu expedition is made via Tibet side due to the easier access and technique as discussed earlier.

We at Skyline Treks are fully organized to make available any logical support for any sort of expeditions. Cho Oyu expedition allows you to sharpen your skills to climb and stay healthy at extreme altitude by earning about techniques to climb with an oxygen system. While you decide to choose us as your health and security as our foremost priority. We also do other great Himalayan treks, that don’t even require technical climbing skills. To learn more about them, please make sure to follow through the ‘trekking’ section of website.
