Then look no further, this trip to Tibet also known as the classic Tibet tour, offers the trip to the unique overland landscapes, snow-capped Himalayas, serene lakes and dramatic high passes. Equally fascinating is the wealth of cultural interest and we will have plenty of opportunity to explore this side of Tibet, both in Lhasa and the other towns we pass through on our journey.
The tour encircles the cultural centers of Tibet, including Lhasa, Tsedang, Gyantse and Shigtse. However, our main touring destination is ‘Lhasa’, Tibet's traditional capital and the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region. It has two world heritage sites – the Potala Palace and Norbulingka, which were the residences of the Dalai Lama. Lhasa has a number of significant temples and monasteries, including Jokhang and Ramoche Temple.
The best time for ‘Tibetan cultural tour’ is from April to early November.
