Package Overview

This family trip of ten days in Rajasthan is full of fun, adventure and Indian colour. Our objective is to keep the children interested on this holiday when we visit some beautiful historic buildings and spectacular palaces including the magnificent Taj Mahal, true epitome of love.

Our tour begins with Delhi Sightseeing. Next day, we board the express train to Agra which takes almost 2 hours to complete the Journey. Highlight of this trip is Taj Mahal, and see the sunset on this famous monument. We then transfer to the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary where we tour around on a cycle rickshaw, which is an ideal way to the see some of the special pelicans, duck and eagles in this area. Continuing with our circuit, we travel to Ranthambore National Park where we have two night stay at a resort and Two game drives in the park offers us an occasion to spot a wild tiger. The route between Ranthambore and Jaipur passes through the rural hearts of Rajasthan offering us beautiful scenery to appreciate. Same day, we would go to cinema to watch a classic Bollywood movie and then have a day's sightseeing that includes the Amber Fort. Learning how to cook curry with a local chef and a (optional) camel ride at the pilgrim's city of Pushkar (optional) are the final component of this unforgettable family adventure trip in India. This is a fantastic family trip, which will give everyone a great introduction to the sights and sounds of India, whilst enjoying some fun with the locals.

Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Traditional Welcome On Arrival

    Arrive at the International airport of Delhi. After the traditional welcome, transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day 2 : Train to Agra and Sightseeing

    Delhi - Agra
    Today, we will rise early and transfer to railway station to board the train to Agra.This is special train started recently between Delhi and Agra. it has air-conditioned carriages fitted with aircraft type confrotable seats. During this two hours route, we will get to see the glimpses of Indian rural life.On arrival, we would be received by our represantative and transfer to hotel.
    Visit the Agra Red Fort, a historical fort in the city of Agra and its walls are richly adorned with red sandstone. Till 1638, this fort was main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty. Thereafter the capital of Mughal was shifted from Agra to Red Fort in Delhi.
    Visit of Taj Mahal, a 17th century marvel in poetic description. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj is a dream in white marble with exquisite pietra dura (stone inlay) work. Shah Jahan, the fifth Moghul King, built this beautiful mausoleum in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died at the birth of her fourteenth child.

  • Day 3 : Drive to Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary Stopping At Fatehpur Sikri

    Agra - Fatehpur Sikri
    Today, we drive down to Bharatpur, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted royal city constructed by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. This impressive and well-preserved citadel served as the political capital of Akbar for 14 years. In 1585 Akbar abandoned Fatehpur Sikri due to dearth of water.
    Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur
    After the visit, we resume our journey to Bharatpur. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Bharatpur is famous owing to its Keoladeo Ghana National Park which is host to thousands of different birds, some 230 different species. Now the Reserve is a sanctuary for the birds and motor vehicles are prohibited in the premises and only cycling and walking are allowed. In the afternoon, we have a Rickshaw ride observing some of the enormous cranes with their huge orange becks, pelicans, geese, duck and eagles. This ride will offer you various offers to capture the beautiful birds in camera. After the ride, we come back to the hotel. Relax in Hotel.

  • Day 4 : Train to Ranthambore

    Bharatpur - Ranthambhore
    After the breakfast, we take a Cycle-Rickshaw ride into the sanctuary to spot a large variety of birds and animals. More fascinating than any other bird is the spotted owlet that grabs the attention of all the wildlife enthusiasts.
    After delicious lunch, we will be transferred to the Railway station in Bharatpur where we board the evening express train for Ranthambore National Park. During this journey, we observe the hustle -bustle at each station. On arrival, we are received by our representative along with the driver and given a short transfer to the hotel. We would be reaching by 18:00 hrs. Rest of the evening is free to relax and rejuvenate for the next day Safari exploration.

  • Day 5 : Exploration in the Quest of Tiger

    Today, we have Two game drives by Private Jeep in the park to wander through the Jungles to find the elusive tiger. We wake up early morning and leave for our First safari in the Ranthambore National Park. We track the tigers and other wildlife through the morning and return to the hotel for the breakfast. After relaxing for the rest of the pre-lunch session, we leave for Another safari into the jungle after lunch to catch glimpses of some more animal and bird species. At the end of this adventurous day, we return back to the hotel and relax.

  • Day 6 : Drive to Jaipur

    Ranthambhore - Jaipur
    In the morning, we drive to Jaipur - popularly known as the Pink City that is the colorful capital of Rajasthan. With its rich cultural heritage and colorful past it is now one of the most important heritage cities in India. The city was established in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the then ruler of Amber(Amer). Also known as 'The City of Victory', Jaipur was the first planned city of its time with imposing forts, dazzling palaces, beautiful gardens and markets. Late afternoon, we can opt for Bollywood session to watch a Hindi film in one of the biggest cinema of India - Raj Mandir.

  • Day 7 : Exploration of Pink City

    After the breakfast, we drive to the ancient capital of Amer, 11 km from Jaipur. Famous for its massive Amber(amer) Fort, Amer was the ancient capital of Kachwaha dynasty for 6 centuries. We take an Elephant ride (optional), an experience to remember for a long time, to reach the Fort situated on the hill. Having appreciated its beauty and captured that in our cameras we visit City Palace Jaipur, a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Next, we visit Jantar Mantar, a Solar Observatory built in the 18th century; an astronomical treasure house that measures time according to the movement of the Sun to an error of just 2 seconds with solar devices that give accurate astrological predictions as well till date. We also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied facade of pink sandstone. It was built in the year 1799 to allow royal ladies to watch processions and other the festivities on the road through its 953 ‘jharokas’or small windows without being seen by the public.

  • Day 8 : Drive to Pushkar Enroute Visiting Ajmer

    After the breakfast, we drive towards Pushkar - a small town located on the edge of the desert with a tranquil lake, small hills with temples on top and the world famous Brahma Temple to boast of few kilometres before the town of Pushkar, we stop at the Ajmer to visit the ‘Dargah’ to the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. After the visit, we resume our journey to Pushkar. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later, we will do a visit to the Brahma Temple and the Sacred Lake. This is an important pilgrimage spot for the Hindus as it is the only temple of Lord Brahma in India. Lord Brahma is known as the creator of the world as per Hindu mythology. Evening is free to explore the local bazaar of Pushkar.

  • Day 9 : Visit of Town and Afternoon, Train to Delhi

    The morning is free to stroll around the bazaar, visit more temples or enjoy the hotel pool. There is an optional Camel and Cart ride (Note: This could be organised on request but need to be paid locally). After the lunch, we will be transferred to the Railway station of Ajmer to board the train to Delhi. Dinner would be served on board. Upon arrival, we would be received by our representative along with the driver and transfer to the Hotel.

  • Day 10 : Departure

    In the afternoon we visit the walled city of Old Delhi; crowded, full of activity and still influenced by the great Mughals who once ruled from the ramparts of the majestic Red Fort Delhi. Here we visit Jama Masjid Delhi - the largest 17th century mosque in India; Chandni Chowk - the typical Indian market always abuzz with activities; and Rajghat - the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi (also called the 'Father of the Nation’). We also visit New Delhi where we drive past the Presidential Palace, Secretariat Buildings and down the impressive Rajpath to India Gate .
    Check-out from the hotel and transfer to the International airport or any point of convenience for onward journey to respective countries.
