Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive New Delhi

  Airport to hotel transfer by company representative.

• Day 2 : New Delhi

  Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for full day tour of Old Delhi. Highlights – Visiting the Red Fort (built 1648), the Jama Masjid (built 1658), a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, drive past India Gate and the presidential Palace on to Humayun's tomb, ending with a visit to Qutab Minar.

• Day 3 : Drive Delhi - Jaipur (255 km, 5 hrs.)

  En-route stopover at a highway motel. Check-in at Jaipur hotel. Post lunch visit the Prince Albert Museum.

• Day 4 : Jaipur

  Full day sight seeing of Jaipur. Highlights - visiting Amber Fort, the City Palace, Jantar Mantar observatory and Hawa Mahal (built 1799, the Palace of Winds).

• Day 5 : Drive Jaipur - Ranthambore (135 km, 3 hrs.)

  Check-in at Ranthambore hotel. Post lunch proceed for Jeep Safari in Ranthambore National Park.

• Day 6 : Ranthambore

  Jeep safaris (morning & afternoon) to see tigers.

• Day 7 : Drive Ranthambore - Agra ( 280 km, 7 hrs.)

  En-route Agra visit Fatehpur Sikri. Check-in at Agra hotel.

• Day 8 : Agra - Jabalpur

  Post breakfast, visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort (built 1565). Post lunch visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-daullah (beautiful Mughal mausoleum). Later, transfer to railway station for overnight train to Jabalpur.

• Day 9 : Drive Jabalpur - Kanha ( 170 km, 4 hrs.)

  Check-in at the Jungle Resort in Kanha.

• Day 10 : Kanha

  Morning and afternoon game drives to Kanha National Park with a naturalist.

• Day 11 : Drive Kanha - Bandhavgarh (270 km, 7 hrs.)

  En-route Bandhavgarh, stopover at motel for wash and change. Check-in at Bandhavgarh hotel.

• Day 12 : Bandhavgarh

  Early morning elephant safari (3hrs.) in Bandhavgarh National Park, to track Bengal tigers. Later, open jeep safari to the park for more wildlife viewing.

  • Themes : Jungle Safari, Jeep Safari, Elephant Safari

• Day 13 : Drive Bandhavgarh - Khajuraho - Delhi (270 km, 6 hrs.)

  Check-in at Khajuraho hotel. In the evening, witness a sound & light show at the Western Group of Temples.
  
  Post breakfast visit the Western group of Khajuraho temples. Highlights - Kandariya Mahadev temple, Chitragupta temple, Vishwanath temple, Nandi temple, Lakshman temple. Also visit the Eastern Group of Temples famous for its Jain Temples. Afternoon flight Khajuraho - Delhi. Transfer to New Delhi hotel for wash and change. Transfer to international airport for flight back home.
