Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok

  You will be received by our official at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) – He will assist you for the forwarding journey to Gangtok (120 Kilometers, 4 hours) - A perfect destination for tourist in search of enchantment, tranquility, trekking or any other adventure. Land of monastery, mystic rituals / festivals at an elevation of 1,437 meters / 4,715 feet is the most often visited spot of India for its rare Orchids and Butterflies - In the evening one is free to stroll around M.G.Marg or the local Market - Over night stay at Gangtok

• Day 2 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing

  Morning breakfast - After breakfast drive for the city tour of Gangtok – Sightseeing will be for full day hence the drive will be bit fast from each point – It is not possible to visit all the places hence some of the important places are selected for the guest – Guest are require to maintain the time with the driver - Visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Ranka / Rumtek Monastery and Tashi View point are some more places of tourist interest – Back to hotel – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center or visit any of the discotheque in central Gangtok - Over Night stay at Gangtok

• Day 3 : Transfer to Lachung

  Early Morning breakfast – Next around 10 AM drive to Lachung via Chungthang from North Sikkim Stand – Lachung is 125 kilometers, 5 – 6 hours – Lunch at Chungthang nearly 2 ½ – 3 hours of drive from Gangtok - Lachung situated at an altitude of 8600 feet - On the way enjoy a few wonderful locations like Tashi View point, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, Twin Waterfalls, Bhim Nala Waterfalls and the confluence of Lachen chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang - Lunch will be served at Namok - The road leads through Rhododendron plants of the Singha Forest Reserve extended up to the Tibetan Plateau - Picturesque landscape, snow peaked mountains, flowing rivers blooming rhododendrons - During April / May / June one can find the riot of colours as Rhododendrons, Primulae and many other Alpine Flowers are in full bloom – Guest are expected to reach Lachung at late afternoon or early evening – Check into hotel – Evening free to stroll up to Lachung monastery – Night halt at Lachung

• Day 4 : Lachung Sight Seeing (Yumthang)

  Early morning breakfast - After breakfast leave for Yumthang nearly 26 kilometers and is an hour drive - Yumthang valley is situated at an altitude of nearly 11800 feet with the river Lachung Chu flowing through the valley - Yumthang valley, hot spring, Yumeysomdong and Katao are nearby places of tourist Interest - Lachung is most sought after by tourist and the valley is either snow covered or the blooming Rhododendron always enhance the beauty of the place - On the way from Yumthang one may visit the famous hot spring known for its curative properties - Yumthang is a large valley surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends and the cold desert starts – In the winter months there is snow all around and the snow clad mountains adds to the beauty - Check into hotel – Evening free to stroll up to Lachung monastery – Night halt at Lachung

• Day 5 : Transfer to Gangtok

  After breakfast leave for Gangtok - There is an option of visiting Yumesamdong (Zero Pint) but its optional - On the way guest can stop between Singhik and Mangan – Return journey is from Lachung via Chungthang – Gangtok is 125 kilometers, 5 – 6 hours - Lunch on the way – If the weather is good and sky is clear one can get to see the Himalayan range with the prominent Khangchendzonga peak - The location on the way offers majestic view of mount Pandim, mount Kabru, mount Simvo, mount Jopuno, mount Khangchendzonga, mount Sinolchu and other peaks and the road side is wooded Rhododendron forest generally blooms during spring - Back to Gangtok - Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center - Over Night stay at Gangtok

• Day 6 : Excursion to Changu / Tsomgo Lake (Nathula Optional)

  Early morning breakfast – Permits are made one day prior to visit - This is nearly 48 kilometers drive and takes nearly 2 hours - Visit to Tsomgo / Changu Lake and Baba Mandir, cool, serene water and the picturesque beauty – Tsomgo lake is one of the holy lake of the region - A temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside - Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place - Till April it is full of snow and lay frozen – (Nathu La Pass visit has to be arranged the previous Night when Voters ID card will be asked for – Nathu La Pass once booked the amount is not refunded even if the trip get cancelled. Nathula Pass supplement of Rs.4,000/- has to be paid on the spot as it is not included in the final costing) Back to hotel for lunch or lunch on the way – The rest of the day is free - Evening one is free to stroll around M G Road or the Local Market - Over night stay at Gangtok

• Day 7 : Departure Transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB)

  Early morning breakfast - Next drive to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) - Approximately 130 kilometers and is 4 - 4 ½ hour’s drive - Transfer to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) with One can stop at Rangpo or Chitrey for Tea - Next stop at Coronation bridge if time permits - Next to Station or Airport – Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey
