Kathmandu (/ˌkætmænˈduː/;[3] Nepali: काठमाडौं, Nepali pronunciation: [kɑʈʰmɑɳɖu]) is the capital city of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the largest Himalayan state in Asia. It is the second largest metropolis in Nepal, with a population of 1.4 million in the city proper, and 2.5 million in its urban agglomeration across the Kathmandu Valley, which includes the towns of Lalitpur, Kirtipur, Madhyapur Thimi and Bhaktapur. Kathmandu is also the largest metropolis in the Himalayan hill region.
Pokhara Lekhnath (Nepali: पोखरा लेखनाथ) is a Metropolitan City and the largest city of Nepal in terms of Area. It is the provincial capital of Province number 4, headquarter of Gandaki Zone and Kaski District. It is located 200 kilometres (120 miles) west of the capital Kathmandu.Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City has become the country’s largest metropolis.
Day 1 : ARRIVAL AT KATHMANDU AIRPORT
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to connect flight for departure. Rooms will be available until 12h00 in the afternoon. ARRIVAL AT KATHMANDU AND THEN TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL Flying into Kathmandu is an unforgettable experience as you can view the Himalaya spread out before you. You will be meet a representative at the airport on arrival and then you would be transferred to your hotel.PM: Visit Kathmandu and Swoyambhunath (Overnight Kathmandu).
Day 2 : KATHMANDU CITY SIGHTSEEING
Discover Kathmandus traditional cultures, inhabitants and world renowned Durbar square areas. A full day of sightseeing includes the main historic and religious sights of Kathmandu. Kathmandus Durbar Square is a constant, teeming mass of life with over 50 monuments, some even dating back to the 12th century, the most famous are the remains of the old Royal Palace and the Kumari Bahal, residence of the living goddess.On a wooded hill to the west stands the incredible golden-topped stupa of Swayambhunath, dating back at least as far as the 5th century. It is the most sacred of Buddhist sites in Kathmandu and Newari Buddhists are the most fervent devotees. Visit Patan City & the Tibetan Refugee Camp but these visits will be coordinated accordingly.
Day 3 : KATHMANDU / CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning drive to Chitwan (4-5hrs drive) National Park. Chitwan is the most popular choice of those in search of jungle adventure. The park is home to the Royal Bengal Tiger, one-horned rhino, sloth bear, langur monkeys, wild boar, numerous species of deer, leopard other jungle cats , over 400 resident and migratory bird species. (Overnight at Chitwan *2 nts)
Day 4 : CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK / POKHARA
Drive to Pokhara, a place of remarkable natural beauty. This enchanting city has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of the lakes and the magnificence of the Himalaya rising behind them creates the ambiance that has made Pokhara such a popular place to relax .Stay (Overnight at Pokhara 2 nights)
Day 5 : POKHARA SIGHTSEEING
Two days of sightseeing introduces major highlights of Pokhara. You can engage in activities such as boating in Fewa Lake, Sarankot Hiking (Sarangkot is spectacular view point for Panoramic Himalaya range), visiting Davis fall and a natural cave, Hiking up to world peace stupa.
Day 6 : POKHARA KATHMANDU
Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. ( Stay overnight at Kathmandu with Bed & Breakfast)
Day 7 : KATHMANDU AIRPORT
Check out from the hotel after breakfast & drive to Kathmandu airport for onward flight back home.
