Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Guwahati to Shillong (122 km/ 3 hours)
  
  Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport, get picked up and travel toward Shillong along the beautiful NH 40.
  
  En route, stop to admire the beautiful Umiam Lake and enjoy some water sports (a nominal fee is required to be paid).
  
  Continue your journey to Shillong and get dropped at the homestay to refresh and retire for the night.
• Day 2 : Cherrapunji

  To Cherrapunji (54 km/ 1hour 40 mins)
  
  Have an early breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunji.
  
  The drive to Cherrapunji is breathtaking, especially you will witness the Mawkdok Dympep Valley and the waterfalls and gorges.
  
  Visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Nohsngithiang falls, the Dainthlen Falls, the Mawsmai Caves, the Mawmluh caves, the Thangkharang Park etc on this trip.
  
  In the evening check in at the resort in Cherrapunji and stay overnight.

• Day 3 : Cherrapunji

  Sightseeing in Cherrapunji
  
  After breakfast take a tour around the little town called Cherrapunji.
  
  Visit the first Presbyterian Church of Meghalaya in Nongsawlia.
  
  Behold the Khasi monoliths/visit the local market (depending on the day of the week).
  
  Post your lunch, proceed to Laitmawsiang (beautiful Garden of Caves (50km from Shillong)) or Living Root Bridge (Double Decker), depending on your energy/fitness level for steep climb of 3000 steps). Stroll around the pristine location for more than 2-3 hours and start back toward Shillong and check-in at the homestay for the night.
• Day 4 : Dawki

  Tour of Dawki and Mawlynnong
  
  Leave early around 7:00 AM for your tour of Dawki and Mawlynnong after having breakfast.
  
  Head to visit Mawlynnong first which is known as the cleanest village in Asia.
  
  After a walk through the village, head to the Living Root Bridge, and then move towards Dawki which is located on the Indo-Bangladesh Border.
  
  Enjoy a relishing a boat ride (a nominal fee is required to be paid) on the crystal clear water in Umngot River and cross the Dawki Bridge (1932-India- Bangladesh suspension bridge).
  
  In the evening, return to Shillong and stay overnight at the homestay.
• Day 5 : Shillong

  Post breakfast, take a tour around Shillong. First head to Mawphlang to visit the Sacred Grove, a paradise for nature lovers who enjoy flora and fauna.
  
  Move to Elephant Falls from there and then continue to Shillong peak to capture the picturesque view of the city.
  
  Next, proceed to witness the beauty possessed by the Lady Hydari Park along with a visit to the All Saints Church, the Cathedral in Laitumkhrah.
  
  Post this, continue to Shillong Golf Links and then the Don Bosco Museum.
  
  Return to your homestay and stay overnight.
• Day 6 : Departure

  Check-out of your homestay after breakfast and you will be taken to Guwahati Airport.
  
  Conclude the six day tour and embark on your onward journey.
