Shimla is the capital city of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, located in northern India. Shimla is well known as a hub for Indias tourism sector. In 1864, Shimla was declared as the summer capital of British India. After independence, the city became the capital of Punjab and was later named the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Its name has been derived from the goddess Shyamala Devi, an incarnation of the Hindu goddess Kali. The place is also famous for its natural beauty, architectural buildings, wooden crafts and apples. Manali is a picturesque hill resort. It is a flourishing orchard industry, a popular honeymoon destination and trails for numerous treks as well as a great countryside for adventure sports such as river rafting, trekking, paragliding, mountaineering, etc. The river Beas cascades along amidst the grassy meadows carpeted with wild flowers. It’s main attraction is the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi and a Tibetan Monastery. A place not to be missed is snow point on Rohtang Pass road. The Rohtang Pas is 51 km from Manali at 3978 meters. Dharamshala, the principal township in the Kangra Valley region is magnificently set in the background of the Dhauldhar Mountains. Named after Lord Dalhousie, the British Governor General of India in 1854, this beautiful hill resort still has a delightful laid back atmosphere that brings back memories of the British era.Not to be missed is a visit to Khajjiar with its rolling meadows, majestic deodars, bubbly streams and the sheer opulence of its natural beauty. Amritsar city is one of the cities of the Punjab state in India. This city was founded by the fourth Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das in 1574 on land bought by him for 700 rupees from the owners of the village of Tung.The city has one of the most prominent Shrine of Sikhs The Harimandir Sahib popularly known as Golden Temple. Wagah is the only road border crossing between Pakistan and India, and lies on the Grand Trunk Road between the cities of Amritsar, Punjab, India, and Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The border is located 22 km from Lahore and 28 km from Amritsar.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  In the morning after arriving Shimla from Delhi by night journey by Volvo or Car(ticket Provided), check in your hotel have a breakfast and rest upto afternoon. At the afternoon go for the Shimla local sight seeing visit Jakhu Temple ,dedicated to the monkey god, Jakhu temple stands on the top of the hill offering a panoramic view of the Himalayas. Thereafter visit the Vice regal Lodge is a heritage building that is situated on the Observatory Hill of Shimla. The building is also known as Rashtrapati Niwas. And if time remain than other beautiful places in shimla like Ridge, Mall, State museum, etc. later back to hotel . Stay overnight at the hotel .

• Day 2 : Kufri and Chail

  Today After a refreshing breakfast , proceed on a wonderful tour to Kufri and Chail. Kufri is derived from the name Kufri which literally means pond. It is surrounded by cedar woods and through which one can walk to Mahasu Peak, the highest peak in Kufri. Later remaining local sightseeing of Shimla. Return to hotel in the evening. Stay overnight at the hotel.

  After enjoying breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Manali valley of Gods, is a combination of natural splendor and rich cultural heritage. Arrive & transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Night stay in Manali.

• Day 4 : Hadimba Temple

  Today after breakfast go for city tour visiting Hidimba Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Temple, Tibetan Monastery, etc. Enjoy your dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

  Today after breakfast we proceed for chilling Rohtang pass a snow point Do not forget to carry warm cloth. Those who suffer at high attitudes should carry related medicines and on the way other sightseeing places e.g. visit Solang Valley,etc. Overnight stay at hotel.

  Early morning after breakfast we proceed for exotic Dalhousie on arrival check into hotel .Later set out on a sightseeing tour visiting Panchpula, Subash Baoli, St. Francis Church & St. Johns Church. Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 8 : Amritsar

  After an early breakfast, drive back to Amritsar - the land of the Golden Temple. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.visit Wagah Border to attend the Beating Retreat ceremony held before sunset, make sure you reach the border by 3:30 p.m. After that proceed to Golden Temple at evening. Return to the hotel by late evening for a comfortable overnight stay.
