Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  The early morning flight from Delhi gets to leh in less than two hours. From the airport guests would be transferred to a three star city hotel where they would be housed on full board. Leh is at an altitude of 3500mts. And all guests are advised to rest for the entire day. A successful trip in Ladakh requires you to acclimatize well.

• Day 2 : Leh to kargil (225 kms)

  Pack you bag to start your trip to zanskar . drive towards kargil. On the way you will view many sites like pathar sahib gurduwara , magnetic hill, confluence of Indus and zanskar river. Basgo monestry.you will find many restaurant Iin mulbeck Have your lunch at mulbeck. Statue of matyria Buddha of 7th century can see on the way to kargil. Overnight at kargil.

• Day 3 : Kargi - Padum(231KS)

  After breakfast, drive to Padum - named after Padmasambhava, a sage guru of Buddhism, it is the regional headquarter of Zanskar Valley.
  En route visit the Rangdum Monastery. If the weather is clear; you can have a magnificent view of Nun - Kun Mountain peak (both are above 6000 Mts.) and Dran Drung Glacier from here, Drive continues to Padum. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Evening is free to explore localbazaar.
  Overnight in Padum

• Day 4 : Padum - Karsha - Padum

  After breakfast, proceed to see the Karsha Monastery. Built along the River Stod, this monastery is a complex made up of white wash blocks comprising several blocks. A set of old Thankas is worth Notice cause of its artistic beauty and the history it holds with.
  By the evening, drive back to Padum.
  Overnight in Padum

• Day 5 : Padum - Zangla - Strongdey - Padum

  After breakfast, proceed to visit the monasteries at Zangla and Strongdey. Zangla Monastery, located near a ruined hilltop castle, is an old nunnery as well. This monastery is famous for some notable wall paintings. After visiting Zangla, drive to Strongdey. The second largest monastery in Zanskar Valley, it houses the monks of Gelukpa sect. The white washed complex has many temples. The Gokhang is well guarded room with many fierce faced deities.
  By the evening, drive back to Padum.
  Overnight in Padum.

• Day 6 : Padum - Zongkhul - Sani - Photong - Pibithing - Padum

  After breakfast, proceed for the tour of nearby monasteries. The monastery at Zongkhul is a spectacular cave monastery. The frescos on the cave walls are very old and reflect the high degree of artistic achievement. Situated like a swallow's nest on a rock face, the monastery is associated by legend with the famous Indian who lectured in the Nalanda and Vikramsila universities.
  Later drive to Sani. The Initial founding of this Gompa is associated with Kanishka (Kushan ruler of 2nd century). The complex comprises of a huge multi columned central prayer hall with the statues of popular Budddhist deities including Drugpa (old school) high saints. The most interesting frescos can be seen in a small and almost discarded chapel at the back of the main building.
  If time permits, visit the monasteries at Photong and Pibithing as well. Drive back to Padum.
  Overnight in Padum

• Day 7 : Padum - Bardan - Stagrimo - Padum

  After breakfast, proceed to visit the monastery at Bardan. A 17th century monastery belonging to Dugpa - Kargyud monastic order and one of first monasteries of this order to be established in Zanskar Valley. The monastery displays some grand statues of Buddhist figures and several stupas in clay, bronze, wood and copper.
  Also visit the Stagrimo Monastery. Drive back to Padum.
  Overnight in Padum

• Day 8 : Padum - Kargil - (231KS)

  After early breakfast, drive to Kargil.
  Arrive Kargil and check in to hotel. Day is free to relax.
  Overnight in Kargil

• Day 9 : Kargil - Dha - Hanu - Valley(52KS)

  After breakfast, drive to Dha Hanu valley. Renowned as the ‘Land of Aryans’, these are the only two villages of the Brokpa villages where the tourists are allowed to visit. The Dard people of Dha Hanu are nominally Buddhist but also worship their own Pantheon of Gods. Ibex is their sacred animal. They have Indo - European appearance unlike the predominant Tibeto - Mongol inhabitants of most of Ladakh.
  Near Namika Pass, there is a village named Mulbekh, on the right side of the road stands an imposing rock on which a huge statue of Buddha has been engraved. Stop here to visit the Mulbekh Gompa built on this rock.
  Overnight in Dha Hanu Valley

• Day 10 : Dha - HanuValley - Leh(163KS)

  After breakfast, drive to Leh, en route visitMonastery of Lamayuru - one of the oldest Gompas in Ladakh. After crossing the highest pass of this region, Fatu, a steep turn descends to Indus Valley, and from here Lamayuru Gompa is clearly visible on the top of strange looking valley. In Lamayuru caves have been dug out in the mountains where Lamas have been living for years.
  After visiting Monastery, drive continues to Leh.
  Arrive and check in to the hotel. Evening is free to explore local bazaar.
  Overnight in Leh

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 11 : Drop to airport

  Drop to airport , back to your home.

Cancellation Policy

• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.


• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.7


• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.7


• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
