Day 1 : Arriving at Delhi
Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Full day city tour covering Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Lakshmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings & Connaught Place shopping center. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi
After breakfast get energetic for exploring the great treasures of Delhi. Start your daylong sightseeing excursion to Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad), that includes the magnificent Red Fort built by great Mughal Emperor Shah Jhan, bustling Chandni Chowk the oldest shopping hub of Delhi and Jama Masjid one of the biggest mosque in India. You are bound to get mesmerized at the great splendor of Delhi City. Later after lunch drive past impressive avenues and building structures such as Rashtrapati Bhavan (President's Residence), India Gate, Qutab Minar, Birla Temple. Evening at your leisure, you can freak out in and around the busy Connaught Place and also go for shopping. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi - Jaipur (approx. 265-kms / 5 hr.)
After breakfast we drive to the Jaipur day is leisure. In the evening visit "Laxmi Narayan Mandir", a Hindu temple made out of white marble. We might have an opportunity here to observe a prayer ceremony. Today night we have dinner with a presentation of Indian traditional music and dance at Chokhi Dhani. Back to hotel and stay.
Day 4 : Jaipur
Today we drive to the Pink City, Jaipur, this city owes its name, foundations and careful planning to the great warrior and astronomer, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and famous for its handicrafts and precious and semiprecious stones.In the afternoon we visit the city palace which is still the formal residence of the royal family, built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. In the museum of the city palace we visit the private collection of the Jaipur Mahrajas. We continue to Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories. Its complex instruments reveals us the secrets of medieval Indian astronomy. Then Amber fort Amber was the ancient capital of Kachhawaha dynasty for 6 centuries before it was moved to newly created Jaipur. We will ascend to the Palace Fortress on the back of an Elephant. Enroute to Amber we visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), built in 1799 AD, it contains 953 small casements with each having its own balcony. The windows enabled cool air to circulate and the ladies to watch processions below without being seen.In the afternoon we have a walk through the colorful Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to see the famous block printing work being done since centuries in Jaipur.
Day 5 : Jaipur - Jaisalmer (approx. 570-kms / 9.30 hr.)
After breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer and check in at the and stay.
Day 6 : Jaisalmer
Early morning proceed to city tour which includes Gadisar Lake, Golden Fort, Nathmal ji ki Haweli, Patwon ki Haweli, After lunch drive to Sam Sand Dunes (40 K.M.) for camel ride where you see culture programme Fock dances with traditional dinner. Overnight stay at resort at sand dunes.
Day 7 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (approx. 285-kms / 4.30 hr.)
After breakfast, drive to (Enroute visit Pokhran fort - 14th century citadel also known as "Balagarh" stands as a paragon amidst the Thar Desert. Day 8 : Jodhpur
In the morning, after breakfast check out the hotel, proceed to city tour of Jodhpur with Mehrangarh Fort with its many palaces and courtyards on the top of Aravali Ranges; Umaid Bhawan Palace, still used as the residence for the royal family of Jodhpur in part and rest of it being used as the heritage hotel and a museum; and the Government Museum that has a rich collection of imperial dresses, portraits of the royal family and arms and ammunitions. Back to hotel and stay.
Day 9 : Jodhpur - Udaipur (approx. 270-kms / 5.00 hr.)
After breakfast, drive to (Enroute visit Ranakpur temple - Ranakpur is known for its superbly carved marble Jain Temples. An enormous basement of this temple covers 48,000 sq. feet. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty four pillared halls. The total number of columns is 1,444, all of which are intricately carved, no two being alike. The Ranakpur Jain Temples were built during the 15th century.) Udaipur city and check in the hotel. Day is leisure.
Day 10 : Udaipur
In the morning, after breakfast proceed to city tour of Udaipur. "The Venice of the East", Udaipur is an enchanting city. From lakes in the midst of sandy terrain to green forested hills where wildlife still abounds, the surprises are endless. Udaipur is surrounded by the Aravali mountain ranges situated on the edge of three lakes. We start our sightseeing with the visit of Sahelion-Ki-Bari (Queen's resort for the maids of honour). After the visit of Garden of Maids we visit a Museum of folk art. This museum has a rich collection of Folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments and paintings on display, jagdish Temple, City palace, the biggest Palace in India, The museum of the palace includes the beautiful peacock mosaic and miniature wall paintings of Indian mythology. In the evening we have a Boat ride on the lake Pichola.The famous Lake Palace of Udaipur was the summer residence of the former rulers. Night stay at hotel.
Day 11 : Udaipur - Pushkar (approx. 325-kms / 6.00 hr.)
In the morning, drive to Pushkar. Pushkar being one of the most religious places for Hindus has the atmosphere of an ancient religious town. The only temple of God Brahma is in Pushkar thus making Pushkar an important pilgrimage city for Hindus.Pushkar has become famous in the world due to its Pushkar Festival which takes place in the month of November. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12 : Pushkar - Agra (approx. 390-kms / 6.30 hr.)
In the morning, drive to Agra. Check in the hotel and city tour for Taj-Mahal. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 13 : Agra - Orchha (approx. 240-kms / 4.40 hr.)
After breakfast check out the hotel, proceed to Red Fort then drive to Orchha. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14 : Orchha
After breakfast proceed to tour of Orchha. Orchha was founded in the 16th century by the Bundela Rajput chieftain, Rudra Pratap, who chose this stretch of land along the Betwa river as an ideal site for his capital. Of the succeeding rulers, the most notable was Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo who built the exquisite Jehangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by graceful chhatris. From here the view of soaring temple spires and cenotaphs is spectacular. Complementing the noble proportions of their exteriors are interiors which represent the finest flowering of the Bundela school of painting. In the Laxmi Narayan Temple and Raj Mahal, vibrant murals encompassing a variety of religious and secular themes, bring the walls and ceilings to rich life. Strewn around the area are the little shrines and memorials, each with its own poignant history, each contributing to the nostalgic beauty that is Orchha. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 15 : Orchha - Khajuraho (approx. 172-kms / 3.00 hr.)
After breakfast proceed to tour of Khajuraho. The rest of the afternoon you will enjoy sight seeing the famous city of Khajuraho. Khajuraho, a small modern village located in Chhatarpur District of Madhya Pradesh which is surrounded by the forest land and widely famous for Khajuraho temples. It is a group of 20 temples which draw attraction of huge no of tourist through the world. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 16 : Khajuraho - Varanasi (approx. 386-kms / 6.30 hr.)
After breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Varanasi. From there you will be transfer to the airport to board a flight to your onward destination.
Day 17 : Departure
Tour ends with sweet memories.
