Day 1 : Arrive Chennai / Mahabalipuram

Day 2 : Mahabalipuram / Pondicherry
Departure for Pondicherry (2:30), and former French vestige of an imperial ambition who died in 1954, after three centuries of presence. Day 4 : Pondicherry / Chidambaram / Darasuram

Day 9 : Allepey / Cochin

Day 11 : Cochin / Mysore
morning train to Calicut and drive to Mysore (6:30 am), the ancient capital of a princely kingdom with a rich heritage, through spectacular mountain scenery, spice plantations and eucalyptus forests.
Day 12 : Mysore
Excursion to the village of Somnathpur where stands the magnificent Hoysala temple of Sri Channakeshara built in the thirteenth century masterpiece of the Indian medieval art. Lunch at Lalitha Mahal Palace. Visit the extravagant palace of Maharaja, one of the finest in India. In the city, stroll through the flower market and vegetables.
Day 13 : Mysore / Halebid / Belur / Hassan
On the road to Hassan (3h30), visit Shravanabelagola, a senior Jain pilgrimage centers in Karnataka. You admire the colossal statue and monolith of Bahubali, saint of the Jain mythology and dating from the late tenth century. Continue to Halebid and Belur, famous for their temples, masterpieces of Hoysala sculptors of the twelfth century.
Day 14 : Hassan / Hospet
Long day's drive in Karnataka across the arid plateaus of Deccan (7am). Arrival in Hospet near the splendid site Hampi, the former capital of the last Hindu kingdom of Vijayanagar, a World Heritage Site by Unesco
Day 15 : Hospet / Hampi / Hospet
Full day dedicated to the discovery of the site of Hampi. Visit the Virupaksha temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and of Vitthala with his chariot procession and mandapam, dance hall with beautifully sculpted pillars. In the royal enclosure, you discover the palace of Lotus, the baths of the Queen and other architectural wonders. This city, which was larger than Rome, fascinated the European and Persian travelers who stayed there.
Day 16 : Hospet / Badami / Hubli
On the road to Badami (3h30), site visit Aihole and Pattadakal, religious capital of the Chalukya dynasty. These temples were built between the sixth and eighth centuries. The interest of these temples, magnificent in their original purity, is the fact that here the builders and sculptors have experimented with new styles. At Badami, visit of the rock caves that overlook the magnificent Agastyatirtha basin. Stopover in Hubli (2h30 drive).
Day 17 : Hubli / Goa
Road to Goa (6h) , Portuguese enclave , former witness the race spices. Overview of the city upon arrival. Goa is a state favored by an ideal climate , fabulous beaches, lovely people , delicious food , fortresses perched on hills , small churches , whitewashed and towering cathedrals dating from the Portuguese era.
