Zanskar situated at an altitude of 3600 mts, not accessible than four month per year. From all directions high passes and deep gorges impassable isolate during the long winter. This beautiful trek starts from Lamayuru in the Indus Valley to Darcha in Lahaul across Zanskar takes nearly 19 days walking. During this trek we have cross as many as 9 passes. The highest pass in this trek is at the altitude of 5020 mts. During this trek we will come across many village and beautiful monasteries like Lingshed and Phuktal. People live still in tradition and foot path/horse is only means of transportation.
